@circlejtp: you're officially on the list. when they get around to signing you up is anyone's guess, tho.
@HackswithHaggs @IanMBrowne: interestingly, Manuel was apparently MiLB.com's Pitcher of the Year in '08: http://twitter.com/Jonatha...
there's a lot of it, but the documentation for Chrome OS is less than stellar
"I’m the only major leaguer with a pair of Bengal Tiger slacks. BECAUSE I WANTED IT MORE THAN THE TIGER." i frigging love @Surviving_Grady
@HackswithHaggs: not that live. Fangraphs has his fastball velocity sitting in the mid 80's: http://www.fangraphs.com/pitchfx...
anybody still not have a Google Wave invite?
@monkchips: probably not for my X300. but if i add a netbook to the fold for conferences? definite possibility.
@circlejtp: email addy?
@monkchips: and run...what? all you have is Dalvik apps that aren't designed for the form factor. not even Google believes that makes sense.
@monkchips: you want a browser based OS, you have Chrome. you want apps, Linux, Windows and Mac are all easily superior options to Android.
@monkchips: are we talking desktop or mobile? the latter, i think we agree. Android has no future on the desktop from where i sit. none.
can't vouch for them, but here's a pointer to VMware or VirtualBox builds of ChromeOS: http://gdgt.com/google...
@monkchips: how do you build the case that says Android succeeds over Chrome? that assertion absolutely baffles me.

couple big crashing noises, power bounced three or four times, now it's dark. related? i think i hear fire trucks.
@chrisblizzard: agreed. but which do you reboot more: your computer, or your phone?
@girltuesday: yep. i thought it was just our block, but the apartment and Rosemont are out as well.
@chrisblizzard: as for 3.6, i've tried, but it's segfaulting on me at startup. can't initialize bookmarks or history engines.
honestly, i could live with perpetually shitty battery life if the damn things just charged faster
@chrisblizzard: wow, interesting. the iPhone's actually pretty good by comparison. i reboot mine maybe once a week, except for Nike+ issues.
looks like the whole east end is now without power. let's hear it for car power adapters and WWAN cards.
two of the lawyer's cases made it into legal year in review. i told you she was badass.
@mjasay: ha! not a paywall. all the content remains available for free. the newsletter is just an editorialized digest.
@chrisblizzard: even if i don't reboot much, i think boot time matters a lot when you're competing w/ smartphones: http://redmonk.com/sogrady...
I used to think it would be cool if my internal alarm could wake me up just before the electronic one. now I just think it's sad.
@chrisblizzard: the pricing is tough. also, what's litl's boot time?
@mikeolson @cote: pretty sure you're on the list, but I'll check
