I wonder how geek culture impacts our bodies. I try to hit gym three times a week - Jeremiah Owyang
I dont drive , so I walk to the transit stop, which is a little over 1KM. so everyday I do a min of 2KM walk avg. OVerall, most of the time its like 3Km /day of walking , every day for the last 4yrs :)- Keepin in shape da easy way ! - Peter Dawson
More than moderate, more than three times a week. - Julian Baldwin
I do - but only because my shoulder is so messed up from being in an accident and typing all day. - Gina
i try to lift or do cardio at least 3 days a week. more in the winter - Eric Schurr
Aside from walking, like Peter, nothing else and I should be doing something else. @Jeremiah three times a week is a very good number, it's keeps you fit and active without wearing you down. That's what I used to do. - Andrés David Aparicio via twhirl
I don't want to talk about it. I used to be in pretty decent shape, but getting back into IT has really done it to me. I lost about 30 pounds in two years when I was cooking, but I've gained about 10 of it back in the last two. - Harvey Simmons
gym 3x/wk, soccer when I can plus frequent walks which involve carrying a toddler on my back. - Nathan Eckenrode
Been working up to it. In fact, today I'll do my 3rd moderate 30min workout. Training for the January 2009 Walt Disney World Marathon. - Mike Reynolds
Stationary bike, row, weights. At 50, it's definitely a battle, but one that needs fighting. - Bob Walsh
Does small-child-wrangling count? If so, then yes..:-) - Rjennings
Yeah, I do -- would lose my mind without a bit of movement - Kirk Kittell
Gym 3-5 times a week, plus run 12 flights of stairs 3 times a day every work day. It is not enough though. Just added pushup in my office to my work day routine this week. - RAPatton
A 5-8 km run 3 times a week. I have to do sport, for school - David Adam
I usually try for 5x per week. A combination of cardio and weights, going for overall fitness. Not trying to run a marathon or lift a car off the ground. - steve albers
I do! Have a balance between moderate and intense but work out 6 days a week and have active rest on the 7th. - Karen Swim via Alert Thingy
You walk a lot in NYC. I once clocked that I walk approx. 4 miles to and from subway stations, home and work. If you keep a good pace, it's not a bad base. - Michael Chin
I try to walk 3 - 4 miles every night. Late nights and rain occasionally stop me, so let's say I get it done 4 nights a week. Could definitely walk more when I'm in NYC, but instead of walking from 40th and 3rd to Penn Station I usually opt to get the LIRR in Long Island City. No walk and 2 stops on the 7 train. - Kevin Shannon
As long as wii fit counts, I do that 30 min a day at least 2-3x/week! - acetone
Me. Running most mornings. I combine Nike+ and GPS tracking to make it bloggable. - Sol Young
I am doing an Ironman August 2nd. So, unfortunately for me, I do very little other than physical activity. - Sacca
I'm a binge work-outer....I don't do it much, then work out like crazy for 4 days, then go back to my sedentary ways. - Justin Whitaker
I've slowed down this summer but most of the time I'm in the gym 3 - 4 days a week for an 1 hour each. Mixture of elliptical / treadmill / weights. It's hard not to when your significant other is in medical school; I hear horror stories about what could happen if I don't. - Benjamin Golub
I forgot to mention that I'm doing the 100 pushup challenge. Today is day 3 of week 1. - Harvey Simmons
Just started again with push ups. In the past I walked, before 30 flights of stairs per day. - Russellreno
Err.. yeah. I'm lazy. I do go on walks with my dog 3-4x a week.. - J. Phil
Almost exactly 3 times a week, although I'm looking to go to 5 here pretty soon. - Justin Gardner via twhirl
I go to the rock gym for 2 or 2.5 hours twice a week. I used to ride about 2 miles to the gym, but have lazed out. Similarly I was going to yoga for an hour and a half once a week, but that seems to have fallen by the wayside... :( - felix
@Sol Young - huh! where do you blog that? I'd love to see how that combo looks on the tubes. :) - felix
I do nothing at the moment but I am going to start soon as I feel unfit! - Joe Dawson
Been a runner since I was in HS, but recently injured my knee and now sidelined. Morale: run but stay off the streets (too hard on your knees). - mark ivey
I workout 6 days a week; an hour to hour and a half. But I only resumed last week after a gap of nearly two months. Travel screws up my workout schedule :( - Parth Awasthi
I work out three times a week for an hour each day. I'm a newly admitted Gym Rat. - Stagekid
I do one sit-up every morning, and always make sure I think about exercise once per week. Having said that, I lost 20 kilos last year by dropping gluten out of my diet... no exercise. Lose wheat, lose weight. - Paul R. Grant
I run on Mon, Wed, Fri morning with my PitBull. Tues,Thurs morning is biking or rollerblading with her. - David Cook
Does chasing 4 youngsters while Thomas Hawk is doing his usual 100 laps in the pool count? - Mrsth
2 mile walk about 2-3x a week, have to bike into work more - Chris Christensen
I'm only doing one 30 min activity a week and feeling guilty for not doing more. - Larry Kless via twhirl
4-12 hrs/day walking & dancing when traveling. Here in Ohio, 2-4 hr walk every day with my sis (She's on vacation before starting a full-time job in a month, and studying for her medical boards). If possible, I'd like to do 12-16 dance classes/week, but travel nixed that - lucky if I get 6-10 hrs dance/week. Ideally, I'd have 3-5 gymnastics workouts/week. - Mitchell Tsai
Yes, for quite a while now ... and I wouldn't want to do without it. - Tom Landini
I take LOTS of walks, but nothing "moderate physical"... oops... i'm too tired all the time. - Susan Beebe
I'm not sure it translates to 3 times a week at thirty minutes a pop, but I bicycle quite a bit. Currently about 250 miles/15+ hours a month. - AJ Kohn
I swim a mile and a half 3 to 4 times a week. - Thomas Hawk
I'm older than most of you and I don't exercise at all. I hope the younger generation will do better than we did. - Judy Jones

I have been walking at least 2 miles a day, every day, since March - Douglas E. Welch
I run 6 days a week. My shortest run is 5 miles, longest during training is 16 miles. - Jeremy Kunz
I do way more weekly, 30 min 3 x week is minimum recommended only - mike "glemak" dunn
One of my friends had a funny comment in grad school. "I have two sets of friends. One group works out 4-8 hrs/day and the other group sits on couches and drinks beer all day. It's so hard to keep up with both groups." I grew up a skinny geek. Then ended up with people who worked out 4-12 hrs/day (gymnasts, athletes) and considered a 3-4 hr workout relaxing. It's sometimes a weird dichotomy. - Mitchell Tsai
Trying to at least take walks and hike up a hill 3-5 times a week. I also want to get back into swimming and yoga. I dance sometimes, too. - Cathryn Hrudicka
Last time I heard the physical fitness studies - Ten minutes twice a day (instead of 30 min/day), 3X/week gave 60-80% of the benefits of exercising 1-2 hrs 7 days/week. The aerobic benefits of exercising follow a parabolic curve. This info is about 10-15 yrs old. Ten minutes 2/day was as good as 30 min 1/day in the studies. - Mitchell Tsai
Cathryn: If you like, I've got a lot of yoga teacher recommendations for the Bay Area. - Mitchell Tsai
OK here's my theory. Don't live like me. 30 minutes 3x a week is 90 minutes a week. That's 4680 minutes or 78 hrs or 3.25 days a year. So 3.25 days a year times 40 years that's 130 days or a third of a year spent exercising. If you can guarantee that exercising lets me live longer than that for the time, I am in! - Steve Rubel
STeve, u spend 130d across 40yrs, therefore 195d :60yrs, but that investment of 195D actually will increase the aging process to like 70-75Y.. its well worth the investment !! - Peter Dawson
I usually run three times a weeks, 6 mile loops each time. I also ride a bike to work 2.5 miles one way and just got started on the 100 pushups program. So yeah, the myth has been debunked. Tech folks are pretty active it seems. - Tsega Dinka
Steve: I don't know how true it is, but at a staff walk at Stanford, there was a sign that every minute walks extends your life 2 minutes (so you don't lose any time)... :-) - Mitchell Tsai
Patrick, my son, told the commissioner that if he tries to censor the Internet it'll make him just want to seek it out even more. I shared with him how smart the kids are and how they will get around any blocks you try to put in place. Patrick told him he turned on all of his own parental controls just to see what they did on his Mac. He said they made his computer unusable. I love that Patrick was able to stick up for his ideas with the FCC Commissioner. Afterwards Patrick said to me "I hate it when people try to censor what I see." - Robert Scoble
Putting this in my "Unexpected sentence of the day" file. - John Craft
Wonder how the commissioner reacted... :) - Vinodh
The commissioner is trying to protect kids from porn. I told him that Patrick and a group of kids visited whitehouse.com (back then it was a porn site) because a teacher told them not to (that was when he was seven years old). I told him that wasn't the surprising part, but that one of the kids knew how to delete the cookies and history in the browser so that the parents wouldn't be able to see that they had visited that site. - Robert Scoble
Vinodh: when my son said you won't be able to stop it, the commissioner said "we've got to try." - Robert Scoble
Thank you Scobleson, it may get though their thick skulls one day! - Dave Pook
We are smarter than you realize. Wonder why Patrick ain't on Twitter/FF? - Yuvi
When will they ever explain WHY they've got to try, especially with a living, breathing example of why it won't work right in front of them? - Rick Powell
I am a firm believer in getting the government out of the censorship biz, so don't take this wrong. Generalizing this to everything is flawed, however. It is true that kids are more than smart enough to find ways to do all sorts of things we probably should discourage them from doing - so just because controlling something is hard does not ALWAYS mean we should give up trying. - Soulhuntre
why does the govt think it needs to take the place of good parenting, before the internet kids found their parents playboys - what's the govt suggestion that? - clarke thomas
I don't mean answering these questions in terms of feasibility or technology. I mean asking the basic question as to why regulating content for particular users or any user is the government's business at all? And sorry, asking that question is what a conservative would do. A fundamentalist would not see the point of asking that question at all, and so to answer your implied question, that's the reason why he would never give up trying. - Rick Powell
@Soulhuntre - I agree - there are areas where I think censorship is good. But porn didn't do any harm to anybody, so why censor? The best thing to fight negative consequences of porn shown to children (like thinking that sex is, well, like in porn movies) is to tell them about it. Censorship won't change anything, it makes it much more interesting. (I like Austria's law that punishes denial of the holocaust, on the other hand. We are able to control Neo-Nazis violence pretty well through that.) - sebmos
And yes I think that fundamentalists are currently in charge of this administration. - Rick Powell
Tumbled this quote, with link to FRIENDFEED, not Twitter. - J. Phil
I just finished reading Corey Doctorow's "Little Brother" so this tweet really resonated with me. Censorship, ultimately, is a futile excercise- not the least because people dont like being told what content they can or cannot consume. The solution is not censorship, or any other enforced form of protection. If they want to protect kids from *anything* don't you think it would be more productive to actually explain to their kids the reasoning behind that. Once I understand the reasoning, it should be my choice how I act on that. If they cannot articulate why we need protecting, how can I be expected to blindly accept their position? Isn't that how any adult would expect to be treated? - David Adam
Explaining the reasoning for things to kids is a good first line of action - but it is not always going to work. For one thing, younger kids are KIDS and in short their brains and logic functions simply do not always function rationally. Any parent knows this. Children are absolutely worth talking to and reasoning with - but sometimes that will fail. - Soulhuntre
sebmos - I personally find laws like that to be no better than censorship of porn. Saying "I support free speech - but obviously not THAT speech because it offends some people" seems odd to me. That is exactly the argument used to control porn. - Soulhuntre
The difference: Neo-Nazis commit violent acts against all kinds of people (political enemies, foreigners (especially asylum seekers), non-believers) - they still do - and they make an obvious lie. Porn doesn't harm anybody, it's not a fact that can be proven wrong, etc. Neo-Nazis don't offend people, they kill people. (And try to destroy democracies, which is their stated goal, much like the NSDAP back then.) - sebmos
A modern democracy should do everything it can to stop people from violent acts, especially if they are politically motivated, and especially if they have the goal of destroying the democracy. - sebmos
Explain why the fact that parenting is subject to failure, in other words, that kids and parents are human, is a reason for government to intervene? The FCC Commissioner can't, he just knows it's true, deep down in his heart. Not good enough, sorry. Unless we make elected officials answer these basic questions, we will only go in circles. - Rick Powell
A few thoughts - one I am not advocating censorship - my point was that imperfect control is not universally a reason to abandon mitigation efforts. In the specific case of the FCC - we are having the wrong discussion. The FCC censors because "we the people" have asked them to do so - they CAN censor some areas because, in theory, "we the people" own some communications media (spectrum). Frankly that's OK with me ethically - those that own something can control it as the please. - Soulhuntre
So if the body politic owns something, then as a nation we can elect to control it. What bothers me much more is government censorship and control attempts of PRIVATE communications channels (the internet and so on) but that isn't in danger from the FCC but the court system. BTW the laws that most often are used to censor speech and obscenity are NOT Republican ones in the main but bi-partisan or left sided. Every religiously driven censor is matched by an extreme feminist or political correctness thug. - Soulhuntre
With the final caveat being, as long as it doesn't violate the First Amendment, which, actually, is why we are having the right discussion. - Rick Powell
@ sebmos - I don't think it's entirely accurate to say that 'porn doesn't harm anyone.' A 10-year-old who's looking at some of the extreme stuff available can come away with a distorted view of what healthy sexuality looks like - that's 'harm' in my view. That said, FCC intervention isn't wise, because it worn't work. What does work is proactive parents who aren't afraid to talk openly about sexuality with their kids. - John Craft
@sebmos - your point about the neo-nazi thing is fine - but not, to me, good enough to censor. There are many who feel that porn drives violence (they think it drives rape) and denies what they see as a "war against women" and purports a lie (that women should / want to be raped). Their feelings are as strong as yours so why not let them censor too? Its a very slippery slope. - Soulhuntre
@John Craft - The average 10-year-old won't see extreme stuff, but "normal" stuff in best case. You really would have to search for extreme stuff - something I'd say they won't, because they are happy with what they can find easily. - sebmos
Great. Patrick is going to be the catalyst of some new legislation. Another Scoble rocking the boat. :) - Kreg Steppe
@Soulhuntre - There are actually studies that suggest that porn decreases violence against women, because men have easier, other ways to satisfy themselfes. Also, this is a different thing: It doesn't work. Porn isn't controllable. No matter how hard you punish people, it won't change anything. Just look at the Middle East. Or look at the US, which is strict compared to European countries. Or look at the Middle Age. - sebmos
@sebmos - remember, I am not arguing FOR censorship of porn, I am arguing against censorship in general. My point is simple, for everyone who agrees with you in objecting to one form of speech (holocaust denial) there are lots who all agree on censoring something you would not want censored. The only way to not get in trouble is simply avoid censoring in all but extreme circumstances. To many, the case for stopping porn is as strong as the case to avoid denial commentary. - Soulhuntre
@johnacraft - the issue isn't (to me) the FCC with porn - frankly they have almost no impact on the adult industry (which I am part of). It's federal law that is out of hand and off kilter. The "2257" stuff, not the FCC, is the real problem. - Soulhuntre
good discussion here. as a typical mom, i worry about my son on the 'net. currently, standing over his shoulder works (when he goes 'net, i turn on extra monitor in kitchen. he knows i watch). i do have porn concerns for children. awful, raunchy stuff i do not want my under 10 (or even 14 yr old) to see on 'net. terrible images of women. terrible. sooo, bigger question to wise folks here, how do you handle this issue? - Barbara K. Baker
@Barbara - You're watching what your children do on the internet with an extra monitor? Omg... (That's definitely the wrong way to handle it. They'll find a computer you can't monitor and will do it anyway, but in secret. They loose trust because they have to keep secrets from you, they won't go to you if they really have questions about sex.) - sebmos
You think things are kicking off now? Wait till kids that have had the internet their whole lives start making waves I'm thinking the next 3 years it's going to be really hard just to keep up with what's going on. Great story, sounds like he's a good kid, must already have a big set of Cojones to banter it up with the FCC commissioner! - Toby Graham
I disagree with Steven that announcing one's location is a security risk. I'm not an invisible entity, so seeing me on a Google map vs. seeing me drive by on a public highway is not a personal hazard. I absolutely agree that announcing location to Twitter or other services is a waste (but think a map with a pinpoint as a blog widget is a nice touch). - Sol Young
I think the risk you take is that burglars will know when you're not home. - Morton Fox
Home-owner's insurance covers losses. My doors and buildings aren't so unsecured as to be highly vulnerable based on my proximity (or lack thereof). People are inherently good, and robbery and theft are not so rampant that we're all soon-to-be victims. - Sol Young
It should be an optional feature directeur. I have tons of real estate on my widescreen display - Tad - just Tad
hrmm maybe if they were very small. Need to keep clutter to a minimum in FF. The FF haters already whine about too much stuff going on don't they, especially in the web interface (I am fine with it and quite enjoy the interface). I personally don't mind hovering over the username to see avatar/info. I'd rather see time-stamping on comments way before more visible avatars. - Matt Hooper
Posts yes, comments no. How it is now feels clean. - Julian Baldwin
No. It's not a display size issue, it's an ugliness issue. - Neil Saunders
You can hover over user names to see avatars - Susan Beebe
Yeah, but I wanna see the lil pics next to people's names. Again, those of you with tiny displays would be able to turn it off... - Tad - just Tad
Nope. What's wrong with hovering over people who say interesting things ? - Michael C. Harris
Nothing's wrong with it Michael, I just want an enhancement. :P - Tad - just Tad
@Russellreno lol; no, I was referring to web design. - Neil Saunders

If you are using Firefox, you can install Greasemonkey from here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-... then go to the url above and click the "Install this script" button in the upper-right corner. Refresh friendfeed, and voila! - Jason Wehmhoener
Jason - Wow, i installed your script and my monitor lit up like a Christmas tree. Looking at some of the avatars I see "it is an ugliness issue'. - Russellreno
I ask why people's faces? I just want to see their genitals - Noah David Simon
Not really - we've got the avs in the pop-ups. Keep the minimalism. - Cyvros/fyc
Wow, that Greasemonkey script totally proved the avatar point. Displaying the original avatar in the post sounds cool, but it seems kinda pointless for one user's FriendFeed page. You're only going to see one icon put in a dozen places. - Here's... possible248!
...getting used to the avatars. As much as I was for such a thing (thanks Jason!), it does look cluttered now. - JA Castillo
actually I may have to put this on hold, there are some strange formatting issues that I need to sort out first - Scott Beale
The new FriendFeed comments widget from Pat Hawks for Blogger is outstanding as well. You can get it here: http://www.pathawks.com/2008/0.... It is live on my site right now. - Louis Gray
Ok, unfortunately I don't think that this plugin is ready for prime time, so I'm removing it for now. Oh well, it was worth a try. - Scott Beale
Same as Todd, hope it works out. Cross-fingers ;) - AJ Batac
So what went wrong? Did it not work or do you just not like how it works? - Glenn Slaven
it was working out fine for some blogs i've seen. :( what was wrong scott? - AJ Batac
when there is a comment, it adds expands the box creating a giant empty space - Scott Beale
ok, that's odd. I don't suppose you got a screenshot of that happening, I might be able to see what's doing it. - Glenn Slaven
I've removed the plugin, but I might try again later when I have more time. Everything else worked really well except for that. - Scott Beale
Aww, Bummer! I was looking forward to seeing it integrated on your site. I believe Pat Hawks' widget looks identical except it doesn't allow people to comment in FF directly from the blog (one of the features of the original). I have that functionality turned off on my blog. An example from my site: http://www.scribkin.com/2008/0... (scroll down to below the article) - J. Phil
Glenn, I just noticed that you are the author of the plugin. I'll add it back and see if you can tell what is wrong. - Scott Beale
Ok, I've reintalled the plugin using the default settings. This post is a good example of what the problem I'm having (large blank space before Likes/Comments: http://laughingsquid.com/where... - Scott Beale
J. Phil, yeah, I would like to make it work as well. Nice FF post BTW. - Scott Beale
:) Sorry Scott, yeah I should have mentioned that. Thanks having a look now - Glenn Slaven
when I 'show' the the FrndFd on ur blog, it gives me 7 pages of blankness, till I get to the comment. (my mouse wheel is set to roll 1 screen at a time) - clarke thomas
Thanks Scott! That one, as you might imagine, was fairly popular with the friendfeed crowd. - J. Phil
Scott and Glenn - it looks at first blush like a div issue? Because the bottom of the blank area lines up with the last widget in the left sidebar.. just a guess. - J. Phil
Yeah, it's a css conflict, the default stylesheet clears a few items, but something on that page is pushing it down. Setting the clears to only clear left seems to have fixed it when I was testing here (yay for the FF Web Developer plugin!) I've sent a fix to Scott, hopefully that works - Glenn Slaven
Thanks guys, my theme is ancient and needs a refresh badly. - Scott Beale
Thanks Glenn, I've swapped out the CSS, now the giant space is below the content, but that's a start. - Scott Beale
It also looks pretty good sitting on top of Disqus, although with some sort of upcoming integration you may not need to mess with it. - David Knight
Actually I just added Disqus, I had been considering it a while and I think it's time for a change. I like that comments and be threaded and ranked. That should help with the conversation flow and the anonymous trolls. - Scott Beale
I'm sticking to Disqus, but am happy with the FriendFeed widget over the former Twitter Tools rev. - Sol Young
Glenn rocks, he worked through the CSS issues my blog and the plugin and now it works! You can see it in action here with a comment by Nick http://laughingsquid.com/video... - Scott Beale
I can't get that shit working on blogger. so much new tech for blogs that is hard for the average joe to install. Seesmic on blogger for instance. - Noah David Simon
Scott -- FriendFeed Comments Widget *and* Disqus.. very nice! Noah - If you use Disqus as your comment system (which should work with Blogger) it's as easy as clicking a check-box to get seesmic video comment support. - J. Phil
Ok, I'm holding off on Disqus for now, but I'll be keeping my eye on it, looks like a great system. - Scott Beale
Could someone post the link to Glenn's plugin? I would love a friendfeed plugin - Colby Olson
Inquisitr with friendfeed comments make a good effort I think, awesome plugin. - Chris Qie via twhirl
Colby this FF post is a link to Glenn's plugin. - Scott Beale
J Phil - I'm on blogger too and trying to get Disqus for comments working and would like to get Seesmic comment support, Do you know what check box I need to select or code to add to get that working? - Larry Kless
Totally didnt notice where the link went, sorry scott. - Colby Olson
Man, Im having errors with _my_ friendfeed plugin! - Colby Olson
thanks all, it's the Chihuly exhibit currently on display at the de Young museum in SF. It's a great show and very cool that they allow non-flash photography. I'm planning on going back a few more times to shoot more there as well. Info on the exhibit here: http://www.chihulyatthedeyoung... My entire Chihuly set here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/t... - Thomas Hawk
I was considering going to shoot the exhibit, but it appears that doing so would just make me feel bad about my skill. Instead, I'll enjoy this set and go enjoy the exhibit with no camera. - David Thomas
Great stuff, man. After I was there, I couldn't wait to see what you came back with! - Jeremy Brooks
Thomas, how do you decide what you post to Zooomr vs. Flickr? Is it all the same shots? - Matt
Love the brilliant colors in these photos! - Alan Le
Matt, in the case of the Chihuly show it's the exact same shots to both sites. I have more shots on Zooomr than Flickr but it's kind of haphazard what shots go to what site and when. I love them both. The Chihuly show is an exception but mostly I go through a finished pool of unpublished photos and randomly post 10-15. Sometimes the same shots to both Flickr and Zooomr but frequently different shots to keep it more interesting. - Thomas Hawk
I still have another 120 or so finished Chihuly shots which will be filtered in randomly over time. The 59 I chose to publish last night though were the shots that I liked the most. - Thomas Hawk
Chihuly's art is amazing. One of the first HD shows I ever saw (around 2000 as I recall) was a PBS documentary on a project he conducted in Vienna. Stunning both visually and artistically. - Jody C
I saw a Chihuly exhibition in Miami a few years ago - the glass sculptures amongst the park vegetation and cacti were simply amazing. - Sally Church
Beautiful! I missed Chihuly's exhibit when it was here in Chicago at the Garfield Park Conservatory several years ago, but was able to catch it in Columbus, OH, at the conservatory there (forgot the name). Took so many pictures. :) And I'm happy that I'll be able to visit his glass museum in Tacoma this August. - Cheryl Jones
Unable to see your photos as Zooomr has been down off and on (motley off) since Sunday PM. What's the problem??? - Jeff P. Henderson
Kevin, what did you use to skin the laptop? I like the glossy paint look (in that photo at least). - ⓞnor
It's a Gelaskin: https://www.gelaskins.com/skin... Rachel and I got them for our macbooks and DS Lites. They're really high quality vinyl, repositionable (I took mine off completely and re-applied it) and are not at all destructive to the underlying surface. They're awesome. - Kevin Fox
