I've been using Xfire for a few years now, and it's great. It also has the added bonus of being able to launch games on your system, meaning you won't have to search through dozens of shortcuts to start up your game. - Sonic Alpha

I use FileZilla for all my FTP transfers. If you need FTP Software, FileZilla is for you. It's FTP software, not much I can really say. However, FileZilla does it's job perfectly, and I recommend it to anyone who needs FTP software. - Sonic Alpha

The latest version takes ages to boot in Windows Vista, however it's still a great package. A good alternative to the likes of Photoshop, I use GIMP for photo processing and image editing. - Sonic Alpha

I love VLC, and use it on both my main computer and my laptop. It manages to run every media file I've thrown at it, without the need to hunt around for codecs. I can't recommend this program enough :) - Sonic Alpha
