@JourneyIndustry I agree we need a program that pushes out, but nobody wants to pay for it. NASA's budget hasn't changed since the 60s!
@JourneyIndustry So, naturally, the anti-spacers will prevent us from going, and then move on to kill the program completely.
@JourneyIndustry They'll be looking at DIRECT, which can't lift as much as Ares or even Apollo. So, that makes the Moon harder to reach.

@Clearedthetower No way can we handle the loss of so many people in such a short period of time and survive. I hope it won't get that bad.
@Clearedthetower He thinks, however, we lack the political will to do anything. I think if he's right about the deaths, we're done.
