let me put it differently, i seldom use the "find people to follow" functionality, so the way i discover people is by interacting with them. - Jason Goldberg

unintended consequences: i really WAS NOT looking for people to *like* this particular story. Rather, i was pointing out that liking or commenting on something i post is certainly the best way to get my attention to follow you - Jason Goldberg

Yes, please! - Anthony K Valley
Absolutely. I already work long days and then battle burn out at the end of those weeks. Having that home day would enhance my personal life and likely increase my efficiency in the office. - Jason Toney

Yes, but some days would be too long for me... But maybe I could do more with my show then... - Mike Wills
No. I'd prefer, crazily enough, six shorter days. ideal schedule would be from 7am to 1:30, Monday to Saturday. i like my afternoon and evenings free. - patricia elizabeth
Yes. I need to stop driving so much. I'll take Fridays off please. K Thanks Bye. - Ernie Oporto
I worked a 9/80 schedule and really liked it. Unfortunately, the Friday off tended to become a Honeydew day. - Victor Ryden
I think the way a 4 day work week is usually talked about is having 4 8 hour days... I think we'd all probably get just as much done and have more time for our families and friends. Better yet is to measure people on what they get done, rather than the time they spend on it. - Jason Carreira
I had a schedule where I worked alternate 4-day, 5-day weeks. I enjoyed it. Like many, I work a lot of hours anyway. I could probably switch to that schedule now if I really wanted to. - jbrotherlove
I used to work four 10s, M-Th, and loved it. I'd probably go back to it, too, especially if they'd let me work the extra two hours per day from home. - Akiva Moskovitz

Or exclude individual feeds — excluding individual services from the home feed would be a way, for example, to avoid repeated messages from three or four microblogging sites, wouldn't it? They would still be listed as services for others to see and it would be even possible to list them elsewhere. - Rodrigo Portela
Service specfic feeds would be awesome... - John Worthington
Definite win - Mo Kargas
yeah, i'd like to block certain feeds from some users or even just block that feed totally. If you could do it based on lists even better. - Charles Lacz
@jworthington: There are service specific feeds (filter by service and go to the end of the page), but it seems they can't be managed anyway in lists or other views, they can be just added from a feed reader. - Rodrigo Portela
