I still want you to come over for a Lost marathon. I have all seasons on Blu-ray :(

I'm still not hooked. I'm finishing up the season out of curiosity, but really, it's not as great as everyone keeps saying it is.

I don't remember a bunch of 'new' extras in the season one finale. There are always 40 or so un-named castaways milling around in the camp background, but the primary cast is well established by then. There is something that happens in a later season where they attempted to bring a pair of previously background survivors into the cadre of leads, but the fans flipped out and it didn't last long.

Heh, also, you're still on season one? It's been weeks! Tsk tsk! Marathon viewing really is best. I watched all of season one over the course of a single weekend and couldn't get the discs into the DVD player fast enough. If it hasn't worked its charm on you by the last scene in the season one finale, I'd just stop watching altogether. The show gets incredibly intelligent, mythical and fascinating, but if the primary dramatic algorithm it employs doesn't grab you, you'll be bored to tears.
