For those of you with a Drobo and using OS X - how are you backing up? Manually? With Time Machine? Using custom software? I'm asking because I'm not sure what the best solution is for backing up my ever-increasing photo library (now about 400GB) and keeping it synchronized with its master file.
Okay guys. Let's get down to business. I'm not happy with some of the feedback that people leave on the DMU group. I'm totally OK with a "delete" vote as long as it is accompanied by relevant criticism ("save" votes are also welcome, but with the same criticism). Enough with the bullshit feedback.
Seriously - I'm totally OK with 10 "delete" votes, as long as they are accompanied by good, constructive feedback. I'm here to improve as a photographer, not to learn about every user's random blatherings and shitstorms.

I just bought a Drobo. I cannot WAIT to throw some drives into it! I got the 4-drive Firewire 800 DR04DD10. I'll be feeding this baby drives for years to come...
Hey - if you're going to post a Save or Delete, then give a reason. A REAL reason. Not some bullshit "I want to be a prick so I'm going to post a totally irrelevant comment". I get great feedback on my photos in this group, and I count on the comments (good or bad) to improve my work. Leaving a bullshit comment helps no one.
this account in order to access Thomas Hawk's DMU feed after it was deleted from Flickr. We will see what happens to this account in the future. Will I use it?
