It's been 22 years since one of my friends died tragically young in a road accident. Today, on a whim, I visited her grave. I don't go often, it makes me pretty sad. She was only 14 and was killed while out riding her bike one evening. Today Sophie was with me and I told her all about Donna, and how she was a beautiful happy person.
One should share memories and thoughts with the next generations. Its the art of living !! (edit) and I am sure wherever Sophie is she is looking down on you both and smiling !

You know one of the things Donna taught me? When she died, at her funeral they read a poem she had written. A lot of it was about how she wished she was prettier, smarter, faster, better. I never knew she felt that way. To me, she was just beautiful, in every way. And that's how I remember her :) So I try not to think about my insecurities, and the things that I hate about myself, and I try to focus on the things that make me "beautiful" ... because life can sometimes be tragically short.
