Eric Rice
I was working on a job hunt roadmap and thought, hey, wonder what everyone *else* thinks I'd be good at. Sure, ex-designer/multimedia type going back to the early 90s, including full web and new media experience since their respective inceptions. So, what do -you- think?
I will note that I tend to be a bit skittish on startups. I have eyed some opportunities within Microsoft, SCEA, and Warner (yes, really)... Just because a company might be gargantuan and weird in parts, doesn't mean they don't have amazing internal initiatives and departments. - Eric Rice
Source the crowd. great idea. ideal job: future builder of skynets - Brian Daniel Eisenberg
@Brian I had a couple of conversations at Gnomedex about this with some folks in regards to the overwhelming difficulties being even *near* the space and doing the job thing. So in a way, it makes sense to make a bigger project out of it. (Also, while I have full ability to do any and all social media things for a company, the over-abundance of people with that as their 'forte' has caused me to omit it completely from a value offering. Sad) - Eric Rice
meta projects rule. you don't even have to do them. - Brian Daniel Eisenberg
@mel There are things I would consult on, but mainly because of the design background-- speaking and writing are other forms of consulting that have unilateral domestic approval. :) - Eric Rice
