He was BENDING THE CONQUISTADOR in this video lawwwl
- Eric Rice
WTF are these ads supposed to be about? Am I supposed to feel sorry for Bill and Jerry, or want to see them shot and buried in a shallow grave?
- Jason Carreira
Jason: Yeah, I don't really get the point of the Jerry/Bill ads...
- Ron
Okay. I'm scared now. Can this continue?
- Todd Jordan
Todd: there's a whole bunch more coming... I'm doing informal surveys based on my hypothesis that a) if you are a web nerd and the type to use friendfeed, you'll hate em, b) if you are part of normal america (the kind that made seinfeld #1) you probably not only 'get' them, but LIKE them
- Eric Rice
Eric: Sadly you might be right. My kid gave it a fail vote, but my wife thought another one was hilarious. The shoe store ad.
- Todd Jordan
WTF? WTF!? Could anyone tell me what they are trying to do here. I am TOTALLY lost.
- AJ Batac
Eric: I get an like this latest one. I just wish they'd do a different style of advertising. But that's cool, I can see they are building a movie and I gotta stick around for a few episodes to get the point. Also, these succeed hugely because they are totally different from the Apple ads and because they get us to talk. I've never seen anything Microsoft has done lately get us to talk like these ads. The fact that we hate them is a HUGE success.
- Robert Scoble
Advertising can be entertainment! I mean I know no one owns televisions anymore /rolleyes ;) Robert: I do like the latest campaign apple is running on CNN.com where I'maMac is in the upper banner and I'maPC is in the sidebar banner. It's cute.
- Eric Rice
Also re: the first ad. That shoe bending metaphor is the best self-deprecating humor ever... and MS paid for it. I think they actually get it.
- Eric Rice
this is just a bad episode of the tv series, Seinfeld
- imabonehead

- Noah David Simon
The first 1/2 was really awesome. Second 1/2 not so much. Ending +1 @Steven Gate + robot = WIN

I picked out a couple of jabs at Apple. The one button mouse pun to name one. But then again, I could just be applying lipstick to that logic ;) (too much fun!)
