"It's typical for an athletes' appearance to change after they retire from professional sports -- they pack on a few pounds and age like normal people. But there's something stunningly different about Sammy Sosa's post-baseball look. Recent photos snapped of the former Chicago Cubs slugger show a shocking transformation: his skin is turning white -- stark white."

"Through three games in Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, the Jaguars have played to 68.3 percent capacity, the NFL's lowest figure. Jaguars officials project that all eight home games will be blacked out this season."

+1 Mathew. Jacksonville is a small market with Atlanta & Carolina to the north, Tampa & Miami to the south. Ed Roski's City of Industry stadium needs 2 NFL teams to split the costs. The Bills may flee to Toronto & Rogers Centre permanently. The Raiders will flee Oakland to share a new stadium with the Niners or in Roskiland. The Vikings are a possibility for L.A. The Chargers could move back to L.A. but I doubt they will bolt. :P

"If this was a random cheating story, wouldn’t even be a story, so when I was told to check out TheYBF.com about Shaq stepping out I didn’t think much of it until I saw the person that Shaq is accused of playing Bed Gammon with with was Gilbert Arenas’ fiance Laura Govan."

Read the emails. I don't know if it is fake or not.

I never bet on Frankie Dettori. I went to Goodwood once and backed him in every race on the card but one. No prizes for guessing which single, solitary race he romped home first in.

That's funny. You know what they say a million ways to lose in Horse racing. Goldikova should win this race. I lost big betting against Dettori at the Breeders Cub in Texas a few years ago. Pick a Horse

I was there for all of these races. They were ALL very good and close. The 9th race was something special and historic!

Breeders cup is always the biggest racing day of the year to me. I have only been to one in person Lone Star Park, Ghostzapper won the Classic that day. Would have loved to be at Santa Anita today :)

NFL: A group in Los Angeles is eyeing seven franchises -- including the Jacksonville Jaguars -- for possible relocation to a planned 75,000-seat stadium - ESPN - http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl...
"The NFL is the richest of North America's professional leagues, but flux is a regular part of the business. In a span of five years (1995-99), seven franchises were created or moved: Carolina and Jacksonville were born as expansion teams; the Raiders, Rams, Browns and Oilers all moved; and Cleveland got a new franchise. According to Semcken, the Los Angeles project has had 3,146 inquiries for luxury suites (there are only 176), 22,000 for club seats and 105,000 for season tickets. He added that there are more than 15 million people living within one hour of the proposed site just outside of Los Angeles. "Mr. Roski has already paid to have the stadium designed," Semcken said. "When we get a team, we can begin building immediately.""

"The Staples Center version of Hyde Lounge will be designed in part by sports architect Rossetti, the firm planning other parts of the arena’s $10 million renovation this summer. It will have ledge seats overlooking the bowl and high-end leather furniture, rich fabrics, strong earth tones and hand-carved finishes. The 175-person lounge, opposite stage end, is to debut Oct. 27 for the Lakers’ home opener. Levy Restaurants, the arena’s food provider, will operate the club in tandem with on-site managers representing the two firms. Food will also be served with some of the same items on the menu at Katsuya and other SBE restaurants. In its first year the lounge will be open to courtside seat holders and suite owners. As part of the deal, AEG sold a block of tickets for Lakers, Clippers and Kings games and other events to SBE to distribute to its best customers to hang out at the new club, said Lee Zeidman, the arena’s executive vice president and general manager."

"Confetti-crazed Yankee fans in buildings along the parade route decided to use confidential financial documents in place of ticker tape -- literally tossing common sense out the window. While the Downtown Alliance distributed more than half a ton of recycled confetti to buildings, some office workers, in their enthusiasm, dumped entire files over the Canyon of Heroes. "We're finding pay stubs. We're finding personal financial information. We found a balance sheet of someone's trust fund showing $300,000 in stock," said Damian Salo, 29, an internal auditor attending the parade with friends."

""It's terrible. Here's the VP of a financial-services company; he makes over $200,000," he added, holding a pay stub. Some of the documents came from the Liberty Street financial firm A.L. Sarroff, including their client accounts, with Social Security numbers and detailed banking data. "They're records that should have been shredded," said firm founder Alan Sarroff. "An overzealous employee threw them out the window. He was reprimanded.""

Man. I just rewatched the ESPN video and the other girls clearly instigated it in every case where Lambert did something rough. Escalation is probably a bad idea though.
