If Google Video had taken off instead of fizzling, YouTube would have been in the deadpool.
online video is growing, but can it prove itself a viable business while over 70% of views are subsidized by Google?

question: does "to monetize" mean a) to make money out of something or b) to *enable* one to make money of something?

@BryanPerson haven't had it long enough to give a definitive answer, but so far so good. the camera and video r great. far better experience
@BryanPerson i just got the 3gs. well worth it. much quicker.
@loubortone only problem is that YT has skewed the viability of the #onlinevideo marketplace.
