Hmm do we think we could use FriendFeed for all kinds of topics with Blitz bods? Obviously some training would be required, but I think this has potential.
A server-side solution would be even better, and there may even be an mediawiki extension that does it. Searching for them seems to be quite tricky though...

I've had a friend feed account for about a month and tbh I've not found a use for it. All I use it for is to collate a group of my own feeds.

I'm not convinced myself yet, but I have seen it being used very successfully by other groups. For example you could create a Blitz Animators room with a hanful of relevant feeds streaming in. People could then comment on particularly good feeds while also adding their own links which seems a bit better than the forums...

Having said all that I'm currently looking at the huge list of mediawiki extensions to see if there's anything like this that would plug into our wiki. If there is something it would be a better solution as it would all be held on our server.

Absolutely both. The company Twitter account can cover company related information, releases etc. where-as the CEO is a totally different entity, what he is dealing with, meeting people or trying to do. The CEO is not the company and it's good to see a human face alongside the corporate one.

Thanks. Any preference on a first name only account or use first and last name?

Most people I've seen on Twitter who are related to a company or brand seem to have both names, but I guess it's down to who or what your personal brand is, rather than your corporate one.

Seems obvious to me but with CEO turnaround being what it is, having it under the company name seems to ensure a better shelf life.

I like the idea of the CEO's name. If they get fired, they change the account, but to be able to contact the CEO of a company over a faceless ad agency or brand manager? That's what makes Twitter so great. It's that personal leveler that you don't get too much elsewhere.

I would start with the company account and check if you have got the time and input to have an interesting second CEO account.
