SShhh but Graham is 'secretly' pulling together an Open Science/Education Podcast based upon one he was invited to partake in last year. I won't be appearing on this one but the next episode will be much better. Was offered a slot for tomorrow morning, but I haz much more planning to do....
Damn, Bill. This *was* a 'secret' FF post ;-)

Whilst Neil Saunders was unable to participate due to other commitments, so far, Richard Grant and Cameron Neylon have agreed to participate in a forthcoming (date/time to be confirmed) Extraordinary Everyday Lives (EEL) Show which is scheduled to be about Open Science/Education. This will be a follow up from EEL #53 - Open Science:- http://is.gd/168X Apols for the poor audio quality - the new one will be much better.

Hosts, Dave Wallace and Mike Sefang record their podcasts on a Thursday. Looking at the global clock, to tie in with their time and availability, this would equate to a GMT time slot of anytime between 8am and 12am (show is normally ~ 1hour). Next, we need to find a date that suits all and of course, pull together a rough agenda. Same as before, the podcast will be done via Skype, captured and edited by Dave/Mike and hosted on their server(s). I'll set up a new google doc in the meantime.

This thursday not so good but next Thursday am would be possible for me...

Any reason why Barry Canton and Felix Moser are in the pic? Will the podcast be related to synthetic biology or OpenWetWare?

Ricardo. I simply searched "Open Science" on Google Image last week for an image of scientists at work and happened to choose this one for this thread. Thanks to you, I've now seen and read the top notch Boston Globe article in which the pic appears:- http://is.gd/qS6P and think it's rather apt to at the very least, include this article in the show notes. Moreover, I must read more about them and make contact. Thanks muchly, Ricardo...
