What I can't figure out is those with private feeds who subscribe to you and then won't let you subscribe to their feed. What's that about? -

I don't understand it, either. I used to wonder the same thing about twitter until someone told me they made their feed private because of their employer. Maybe that's why some people do it on FF, too. - Trish R

I would guess that they plan to use FF only to communicate with family and IRL friends, much as some people use twitter or Facebook or Myspace. I don't see anything wrong with that, it's just not what I use FF for. - Laura Norvig

I had a private feed for alittle while but that was cause I was trying to get rid of some one from viewing my feed. They are gone now so I reopened my feed about a month ago. - Colide81 (James)
