Duncan, I agree, but will opinions change here in Australia if the rumoured talks between Hulu and our networks bear fruit? I suspect that a lot of people who rail against geo-tardation are railing simply because they're on the blacklist and not from any ideological point of view. - Shane Perris

Some of you guys are missing the point. It isn't a question of hulu being good/bad as a video player - it's the fact that the content can't be easily viewed outside of the US, so don't embed it in your posts (please and thanks) - Jeff Smith

Hmm. Jeff makes a good point. I don't have a problem with Hulu or any site geo blocking. this is a licensing rights issue with distribution rights. About 85% of our traffic is from the USA. I don't embed Hulu often, but will continue to do so as long as the % are stacked as they are. but I will start adding an apologetic disclaimer for folks outside the US. - Robert Seidman
