I am thinking about moving the majority of my favorite feeds into Gmail so I can have one app that rules em all. Reminds me of AOL circa 1999.
why not the igoogle page? Wouldn't it be easier to read? - Michael Wishnick
Interested on seeing how you do it. - Osvaldo Johnson
Steve is on to something... his concept of gmail as a nerve centre is coming to fruition with tasks today. Via labs we have docs, calendar and tasks all within the gmail interface. Google Reader is the only app left that i need to go outside for now - well except to tweetdeck - can Google buy that ;-) - Vernonkell
PS re AOL 99 - think FaceBook not gmail - Vernonkell
I have written it up here - via Newsgator. http://www.micropersuasion.com/2008... - Steve Rubel
I've tried feeding stuff into Gmail a couple of times but keep going back to gmail/greader. I'm happy to play semantics and say my "one app that rules them all" is Firefox. If you want "one SCREEN that rules them all" there are a couple of Firefox add-ins that get you there, my favorite of which was just written up again today.
