For Lazzarato, the problem with the current condition is not the takeover of production (the “real” economy) by finance (the “virtual” economy”), so typical of more traditional Marxist analyses, but rather the priority of debt over both. Indeed, finance is irreducible to its speculative function, but rather plays a political role as social capital.

Whitepixel is an open source (GPLv3) GPU-accelerated password hash auditing software for AMD/ATI graphics cards. It is currently the world's fastest single-hash MD5 brute forcer. It achieves 33.1 billion password/sec on 4 x AMD Radeon HD 5970.

Oh god, the NTFS code is a purple opium-fueled Victorian horror novel that uses global recursive locks and SEH for flow control. Let's write ReFs instead. And hey, let's start by copying and pasting the NTFS source code and removing half the features! Then let's add checksums, because checksums are cool, right, and now with checksums we're just as good as ZFS? Right? And who needs quotas anyway?

Converts executable programs into a human readable C-like pseudocode text. The pseudocode text is generated on the fly. Fast enough to analyze 99% of functions within a couple of seconds. Currently supports 32bit compiled generated code for the x86 and ARM processors.

It is interesting to notice that given a fixed length, sending an SMS using 3G is always more energy consuming than using GSM. The gap varies from 0.6 to 1.4 Joule.

Opportunistic locking (oplocks) is a Windows-specific mechanism for client/server databases to allow multiple processes to lock the same file while allowing for local (client) data caching to improve performance over Windows networks. Unfortunately, the default setting of the oplocks mechanism that enhances the performance of one type of database (client/server) also introduces data integrity issues for other database types (file system/ISAM).

That 32-bit editions of Windows starting with Windows Vista are limited to 4GB is not because of any technical constraint on 32-bit operating systems. The 32-bit editions of Windows Vista and Windows 7 all contain code for using physical memory above 4GB. Microsoft just doesn’t license you to use that code.

In this article we are going to analyze the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface, from both a technical and security perspective. We will also take a brief look at the new Windows 8 EFI Kernel, we’ll discover many new interesting feature Microsoft implemented in it.

Install x86 memory bootkit in a classical way (option 1 – MBR Setup) only if there isn’t any boot manager installed in your system (like Acronis OS Selector, Yamsisoft, GRUB, etc..). Otherwise just use VBR Setup type (option 2). If you would like to enable bootkit for more than one Microsoft x86 operating system click on “Bootkit options” in File menu and enable “ONLY compatible” Bootkit program type. In this way bootkit should work on every installed Microsoft OS.

Unfortunately we don’t plan to make it work with Windows XP. XP physical memory limit code is more spread in the Kernel. Exploiting it leads to hours of reverse engineering, modification and testing.

While analyzing Windows 8′s EFI loader, I got into a call located inside the function MmInitializeNucleus, called by MmInitSystem. This call contains the licensing verification that allow or deny Windows to support more than 4GB of memory.

If the system is not a server, the ntQueryLicenseValue, called with Kernel‐WindowsMaxMemAllowedx86 parameter, returns the value 0×100000. This value is then stored as a system-wide variable and used inside the MmInitSystem function. 0×100000 in hex is 1048576 in dec which, multiplicated by 4KB (size of pages) returns 4GB. If we change that value from 0×100000 to 0×1000000 (16777216 in dec), Windows will be able to see all 64GB of memory.

Je, ljubav je postala vječna kad su uveli DPC latency checker kao standardni test. Godinama sam ga prije toga koristio dok me okolina uvjeravala da (po običaju) pretjerujem i da to "nije bitno" :)

Max areal density: 636 Gbit per square inch ... yikes :)

Write latency is a good indicator of a drive’s responsiveness. The Z5K500 does not look good, placing at the back of the line ahead of the pathetic Samsung. The max write latency is astronomical on the Z5K500 however, the highest we have ever seen. Wow.

The Sony Xperia Z uses a Snapdragon APQ8064 S4 Pro chipset, which is the fastest to currently power an Android phone. The Krait cores are fast, no doubt about that - two of them were coming only slightly short of a quad-core Cortex-A9 CPU and four make up a real beast. And the Xperia Z doesn't disappoint. It comes up on top in Benchmark Pi (which is all about single-threaded performance) and it's also on the top in Linpack (which focuses on multithreading).
- Fritz
To sum things up, Sony has managed to extract more performance from the four Krait cores than any manufacturer to use this chipset. The Adreno 320 GPU does equally well - it manages playable frame rates using a real-world 3D engine at FullHD resolution. It's hardly a surprise then, that the overall user experience with this one is smooth as butter.

LTE, NFC, uberdrka X, megadrka Y i štekanje u osnovnim funkcijama čim zagrebeš ispod površine.
