@pixelpage Thanks Colin. Really was having a really grim time the last few weeks. But it time to raise my head above it
@webireland sure. next week would be good. have 'alot' of catching up to do this week. there is a @nimtug event on Thursday night
so i've been off-line for awhile and 'not in the jungle' as has been reported
@webireland could be better. was really feeling down, change of events including a death in the family and illness had me away. but am back
@ClaireBoyles sounds like thing are working out nicely. i'm soo happy to hear things going your way, and what a great way to get started :)
@Jim_Montgomery 9 days off twitter : some 'sad' news last week. haven't been online much since
@ClaireBoyles congrats on booking a well deserved holiday
@siphilp will have to see about getting it later this weekend.. forgot about it [would you believe] =/

@imanto thank you kind sir for you #ff love :) back at ya :D
really lost the urge to code this evening :: it only 'bloomin friday evening' :: lure of beer is calling me. and i have no will to resist
@mischievousone most welcome. weekend will be beer, some coding, dawn of the dead showing in a mall and time with my son on Sunday :)
@alexoconnor Silverlight had *many many* advantages over Flash/Flex :: mutithread, background & GPU processing are big ones
@alexoconnor learning curve it not that steep :: XAML [the mark-up] will be new to some folk :: but the back end code .NET
@alexoconnor and a last thing to note is as it .NET is plugs in nicely with other Services :)
Off to brave the rain.. Have to go to the shop. No Coke's left
@alexoconnor and as a FLEX developer, I can tell you that Silverlight does excite me [especially the futures!] :: maybe we can Skype
@alexoconnor only real learning i have found is to discover the limitations of the platform [a few in comparison with WPF] and work round
@jabbrwcky dont know :: invite been sent, but you have to wait for a while :: most folk i know on it did not get invites, but where invited
@SherylBreuker if anyone is wonder what is the future of the web.. it's API's, API's, API's :: Truely write once and consume anywhere
@SherylBreuker just Dm'd Ken :: But well there is no harm :)
@kencamp just DM'd you :)
@SherylBreuker working on a new API that will manage multiple social networks and accounts based on earlier work at rtweeter.com
@kencamp can't wait to look at Sheryl just DM'd me with you dilemma [shouldn't laugh] :: Oh Giddy with anticipation! :)
