Better than me - sister in law just dropped of HP laptop with Vista and said "it's slower now." so I get to play with the cleaning of spyware and the uninstalling of a billion little apps that HP feels are so necessary that they should be part of startup just to ensure that it takes a full 5-10 minutes before you can use the machine.
