Guess what - I'm an avatar! I while away my time surfing the net. I'm suezanne@googlewave.com and my Google profile is http://www.google.com/profile...
Trying threadsy again, at threadsy.com.
I assume there's a monetary motive for using the trigia.com links. They sure are annoying with a popup add each time you follow a link.
Why does searching the Google Toolbar Button Gallery for "twitter lists" yield nothing but porno sites? http://www.google.com/gadgets...

I take a look at the Mashable Tech Twitter list. Here's some of the valuable tech news some folks are so thrilled to find using twitter lists: 1. " VH1 totally just sucked me into some stupid special on Willie Aames. I was two young for BOTH of his shows." 2. "Ollie, pointing to a head of lettuce, "look at that salad ball"." 3. "need a few fresh...

How are the companies wanting to make 3D business meeting virtual worlds going to deal with the demise of the desktop as portable computers and cellphones take over?
I want a file manager that keeps the folders on the left and the files on the right the way God meant it to be.
The FFHolic Firefox addon makes my display not fit on the screen. The scroll bar vanishes. Anyone else see this problem? This is on a 1024 wide display.

Ning is kind of old news isn't it? I pretty much gave up on it years ago.
How much info does Google have about you? With Google Dashboard, you can now accidentally let everyone at your workplace know by logging in to your Google account at work and forgetting to log out. .... I knew there was a good reason to have multiple distinct Google accounts.

agreed. - evonne
It might be fun to try to use Wave on a collaborative document. How would I find sometime to give it a try? Maybe Robert Scoble would co-author an article with me on "Why Friendfeed and Google Reader are better than Twitter lists". Probably not though. Sigh, this social network stuff is more fun if you have actual friends, even internet friends. - SuezanneC Baskerville
We talked about using it for the homeless connection project we started inworld -- Ozma Malibu, Rhiannon Chatnoir, Buffy Beale and a few others working on Transitions: A Place for Dreams as a resource for all things related to displaced care. - evonne
Windows Vista will soon be largely a thing of the past. Even a depressed pessimist like me finds that cheering.
Strange wikipedia article on Josh Williams at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki... . Josh Williams is also a combination of Nigel Thornberry and a Wooly Mammoth, and roams the suburbds of Pennsylvania in search of eternal life. He has a sidekick named Tucan Sam (aka the Birdman) and has been known to move very fast and destroy everything...

Anyone know of any websites where you vote for the most evil politician, or other world figure? I'm thinking of one from several years ago. It was a lighthearted site. Britney Spears and Adolph Hitler might be near each other in the same list. I nominated "notorious griefer" Plastic Duck (a Second Life avatar).
How do I get a picture to show up here with a thumbnail? I have it on Photobucket and my hard drive. I did an Add Photo, that didn't make it appear in my post. I pasted the url of the image at Photobucket into the post, that made a link appear, not the image.
One easy way is to go down to the bottom of the FF Page look for "Tools and Widgets" click on "Bookmarklets" and copy the Tool to your Bookmark in your browser. It works whenever you find something you want to share, you can click on it and it pulls up a little window you can Describe the Top, add thumbnails by clicking and even post the first "Comment". - Robert Higgins
The other ways is to just click on the "Add Photos" link in the Home Feed. That is the pull it off your hard drive method. So it will open a window to open the file on your computer. It is strange it didnt work when you tried. - Robert Higgins
Some of the "feeds" will auto post thumbnails. For example if you like or upload something in Flickr it will later on update to your Home "feed". Same with Youtube. If You favorite something in Youtube it will post a thumbnail. - Robert Higgins
It seems perhaps one has to do the Add Photos first, then add text. Is that how it works for others? - SuezanneC Baskerville
SuezanneC, over here http://friendfeed.com/scoblei... you mentioned it'd be nice to be able to hide Friendfeed posts by keyword. FF doesn't do this natively, but I wrote a userscript (works on Firefox/Greasemonkey, Safari/Greasekit) that will do this: http://friendfeed.com/friendf... . Let me know if you have any questions on it. All the best :) - Micah Wittman
Anyone know of any former Linden Lab employees other than Robin Harper, Cory Ondrejka, and Wagner James Au?
Second Life - the Flying Fish
SueuzanneC Baskerville - Flying Fish shirt.png
Back in the old days of Second Life, the self-replicating Flying Fish was considered by some to be quite an annoyance. Ahh, for the good old days. The fish was nothing compared to today's replicating physics enabled audio screaming text chat spamming Goatse-porn-particle dispensers. I was given two shirts, one like this with a picture of the fish on it, and one with the circle-slash "NO" symbol over the fish. - SuezanneC Baskerville from email
Trying again with my Hipihi at Halloween picture. I was hoping to find a big build with a bunch of Halloween stuff but did not succeed. I did however find a pretty young witch. I think it's neat that I share a bit of Halloween, for essentially nothing, with no planning on my part, with someone as far away as China.

How much would a marriage in the International Space Station be worth?
Why the heck does Ning make you display a location in your profile? And can anyone tell me a valid zip code for Antarctica?
I can't find a zip code for Antarctica. I don't think the Antarctica mail system has zip codes. I also don't think they like delivering mail that is non-essential. It's like delivering mail to Mars. Without a zip code, the web sites that include Antarctica as a country choice that also insist on selecting a zip code that's valid for the chosen country are offering a country that can't actually be selected. - SuezanneC Baskerville
