The same here (spam...) - what's even worse - I cannot block some of those - it refuses to do so. A pity :(
- Hanna Wiszniewska
Yeah a pity.. Interesting idea though.
- Svartling
I like the idea, too. I noticed that the more more complex tags you watch the less spam you get (the worst are simple ones like "google", "food", "art" but "cognitivepsychology" and "neuroscience" gives no spam ;)
- Hanna Wiszniewska
Generally I like it but I have had the same problem too which makes it irritating at times :(

Hanna: Thanks for the tip. I will try longer tags then :)
- Svartling
Guys - We're 100% aware of the spam problem and we're working on it. It's actually not just the problem of ours but all real-time info delivery services suffer this problem too, and it's a tough challenge. However we have been aware of this problem much before we launched and have been developing and improving our filtering algorithm for a long time, so it's getting better. For now, as Hanna said, the more specific your topic is, more relevant content you'll get. Thanks for the feedback :)

Hanna - could you elaborate more on when it refuses to block sites? What does it say? It would mean a lot to hear about that. Thanks!
- Ethan Gahng
Ethan: Thanks for your comment. In other words: This problem can be hard to fix then?
- Svartling
Svartling - no, it should be solved, and it's one of our top priorities. It cannot be completely solved by nature because the whole notion of "spam"ness is subjective--some people would consider a blog post spam, while others would not--but it shall be solved to the extent in which the average User Experience is high enough to be acceptable. Thanks!

Yeah i've also noticed the spam issue and I truly understand the problems solving them. One way of solving it could be interactivity for the not so obvious ones. If x ppl use "block this source" some sort of a warning icon could appear saying "possible spam" if another x ppl then blocks (or perhaps clicks this warning icon etc) it's most likely spam and should be treated as such.
