Hehe so the "Add Comment" is new? Was commenting something earlier and thought "Uhm why haven't I used this before?" :) Wonder why it was implemented though? I'd expect a development freeze since the FB deal..

I think the FB Lite and Friendfeed acquisition are independent of each other. The timing is interesting, though. From what it sounds like, FB Lite will be like Friendfeed. If Facebook enables sharing to Public and improved search capability (both are being rolled out as we speak) and takes out the 5,000 friends limitation, this could be a good alternative for the Twitter and Friendfeed crowd

If you look at the early screenshots - It really does look quite much like friendfeed. Even the share Field where we could add photos and files :)

The statement from Facebook seems to bear it out. Still - some kind of FF replacement within Facebook would be good, I just don't think Lite is it, personally.
