I've stopped using Google Reader because RSS updates too slow. I have completely switched to real-time. I'm using my own real-time service at http://ff.clipotech.com/ for monitoring news & PeopleBrowsr and friendfeed for the rest. I don't need an RSS reader anymore.

I find all the news I want to read and microblog this way. Real-time keyword searches and filtering.
