A room for participants and friends of Startup Weekend Columbus to do whatever. Remember that we have no NDAs at Startup Weekend, so if you want something to remain confidential, don't discuss it here.
Putting together a site like this for the U.S. or even just Columbus would be a very useful project. Could be something for Startup Weekend Columbus.

Idea. Deadheading is when a trucker takes a load to a destination but travels back empty. Saw this post on twitter ( http://twitter.com/turbo88... ), and thought truckers should set up a network on twitter to announce when they're deadheading. Maybe they'll be able to get a load back
More sponsorship news. Sterling Commerce (my employer) will sponsore Startup Weekend Columbus. Have known for some time, but I was just working on approvals. http://sterlingcommerce.com/
A post will be forthcoming on the SWC site, but welcome new sponsor dynamIt Technologies, a Columbus based Web Engineering + Design firm. http://dynamit.us/
A great discussion started by a prospective SWC participant asking past Startup Weekend participants about their experience. In a word, their advice is "GO". http://news.ycombinator.com/item...
Coming down from Cleveland for the event. The wife & I are on somewhat of a tight budget; would anyone be able to spare a couch for the cause? Would greatly appreciate it!
Joe, I'm sure we'll be able to find you something. I'll start publicizing this room to get more weekenders here. Did you notice that Andrew from Cleveland is also coming? http://columbus.startupweekend.com/...

Thanks Alvin! Yes, we've already talked a bit; I'm trying to avoid paying for a hotel room if at all possible :).
