"It will probably be in the range of 10MB per image file. I have no idea how they'll handle/limit video upload size through the web interface."

"Good question. I have no idea. So far, I haven't seen any resizing on my images here, though I've never sent more than a few MBs. I assume Posterous counts on the fact that most of its users are limited via their email providers. That is until they allow image uploading directly through the web interface, which will probably be limited to individual file size, but with no limit on the number of files. Ideally."

"A good visual experience isn’t enough. This is a very early version, too early in my opinion, which breaks or ignores key features which have become critical for any Twitter client geared towards power users who have become accustomed to Seesmic AIR or even Tweetdeck."

"Yes. The other PC in the house runs Echofon, which hasn't updated for about an hour now. What's even stranger is if I turn the router off and back on, everything updates for a while and then dies again. Not sure what to make of it."

"I haven't changed anything, nor have I installed anything that might change such settings. I've done a complete system restore and the problem remains."

"Sounds like the power supply was cut off while the laptop was sleeping. That's basically the only difference between Sleep and Hibernate: Sleep shuts off power to MOST of the system, resulting in a very low power state. Hibernate stores your current system status in a file and completely shuts down the system. Here is a more detailed explanation: http://bit.ly/elf9Z"

"@becky: I know. I can wait. :) @Euterpe: thanks for the feedback. I can understand why you see it as boring. Your comment does raise a question about the overall value of a "good looking" webiste, if more and more people are consuming your content without actually visiting your site."

"Gmail (and most other mail clients) can insert images in the message rather than as an attachment: just use the "Insert Image" button. That's what I do. I have tried the flickr image codes and they've worked fine. Keep in mind that you need to paste the flickr code when editing your post's HTML. Tal Shafik"

"I’ve been using my Posterous site as TwitPic replacement for a few months now, and it’s great. Most full featured clients are adding Posterous posting. Seesmic already has it. Firefox addon Power Twitter supports in line previews of Posterous images. Thanks for the writeup."
