"@Voohoo: Before I wrote the above comment, I went to the Dell page linked in this article, chose their most expensive option, and didn't get an option to pay more to get a 1920x1200 display. I'm not sure where @ForestFire0 is seeing what I'm not, but 1920x1080 is still less screen real estate than I'm used to. Call me too stubborn and too fixated on the 16:9. It's going to be a hard adjustment for me, I suppose, and I've been craving a touchscreen laptop for awhile. Hopefully the 1920x1200 option will be something I'll see in the foreseeable future. I'm glad I'm not in any hurry to buy a new machine."

""With a 17.3-inch (1600x900) display" I stopped there. My Dell XPS M1710 has a 1920x1200 resolution. I'll wait for the Studio 17 Touch to allow for a little more real estate."
