Anybody else have a problem with Flock lately? Almost all the social media functionality disappeared. Even reinstalling didn't help.
I pretty much use FireFox now. Flock was/is falling apart. If I'm not mistaken and understood right, 30DC won,t be pushing Flock this year either. - Ron"micronet"Harwood
Gave up on Flock last year. Moved to FireFox, but now using Google Chrome - not sure if any plug ins are available yet (not had the need to find any and revert to FireFox if I need anything in particular) but it is super quick, simple and straight forward. - san
I gave up on Flock last year too, it kept crashing. I use Firefox and as Ron mentioned, this year's 30DC will use Firefox too. - Corinne Mitchell
There is a new version of Flock available (2.5) - Brian McClure
Upgraded to 2.5. Same problem. - Frans
I'm so glad I've not been alone in my Flock pain! I'm moving to firefox too - Seang-Lim Tan
I've run into the same problems with Flock. I loved it when I started with it but now it refuses to open certain pages, etc. Tried upgrading to 2.5 but that gave me even more problems so downgraded back to 2.0. Loved Flock but will try using Firefox. - Gina - Gina McLeod
Frans: there was a Facebook change yesterday that made the People Sidebar cease working with Facebook. It should all be fixed today. More info at: http://getsatisfaction.com/flock... Anyone else with issues in Flock is more than welcome to post to that same site or email me directly! -Evan Hamilton, Flock Community Ambassador, evan at flock dot com - Evan Hamilton
Nice that you came here Evan and gave us that info. - Isha (Marysia)
Flock continues to work well for me. Had problems on the PC but on Mac it seems to work well. - Graham Hunt
Not had any problems with Flock at all, it still works like a dream! I assume I can still use Flock in this year's 30DC even if they are going to be using Firefox this time? - Paul Williams
Don't see why not. As long as any add-ons that may be used work ok :~) - Ron"micronet"Harwood

Anyone bought the Article Marketing Automation? I'm thinking of buying it and try it.
I'm using it for content (which is free) and I'm quite impressed. - Lisa
I've used it for link building, it's really pretty good. Thumbs up! - Seang-Lim Tan
that is great, yes I'm also thinking of using it for link building - Mitja MG
Mitja, I use both AMA and Unique Article Wizard, which is a similar service. AMA submits articles to blogs, and UAW to article directories. UAW gives nearly twice the NUMBER of backlinks as AMA. Some say that the Google weighs AMA links higher because they come from blogs rather than article directories. AMA is ~$50/mo. and UAW $70/mo. Review both and see what fits your needs best (Ideally both!) Worth the money IMHO :) - Ritesh Lal
that is interesting, thanks for info Retish Lal - Mitja MG
Love both! - Ed Dale from BuddyFeed
I have AMA and have over 2400 backlinks in a couple of months from 14 articles at the moment. Onearticle has been reprinted 117 times so far in unique formats. Well worth the money - Graham Hunt

Anyone know how to pause adsense on website so ads don't show without having to delete the ads manually from every page?
I'd be interested in this - Seang-Lim Tan
I'd be interested in this also, I guess it would be an option in the adsense control panel in google. - TrafficBug
If it's a wordpress blog then deactivate the adsense plugin and reactivate it again to bring the ads back. - Andy Roberts
You can pause the campaign if that is what you mean? - Allison
Sadly not wordpress Andy, but thanks, it's an older Site Build It one. Yes, Allison, pause the campaign with the adds not showing on the site for visitors. Any hints?? - Rosie Peters
Adsense (as far as "I" know ) can't be paused, You are simply displaying ads, your not really running a campaign like you would with ADWORDS which can be paused. You say its not a blog, So... If your pages are html than just comment the script (ad) code out on the page(s). Like this <!--(space) adsense script code (space) --> That way the script (ad) code will still be in your page code... more... - Ron"micronet"Harwood
Thanks Ron! Much appreciated. - Rosie Peters
Ron's a treasure. - Isha (Marysia)
@Rosie My pleasure, Hope it works for you. @ Marysia "Blush" ;~) Thank you ♥ - Ron"micronet"Harwood

Is anyone having problems with Tweetdeck groups? I've got several groups configured, but they don't seem to be updating with any of the group's updates
I got rid of tweetdeck and just use the more basic twittergadget now - fine for what I want. - Inspired Writing Research
Thanks! I'll go chec kit out - Seang-Lim Tan

I am new to the 30dc and have been going through the 2008 pre-season plus on Day 4 of the 30dc but have run into a snag. The example being used is Amazon but Amazon no longer pays affiliates in North America. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have also signed up for other Affiliate programs but thought perhaps it would be different rules.
No,no Gina and welcome - I think you mean their reference to 'paid search traffic?'' Ordinary website/blog promotion is ok I think. You will love the challenge - its the most educational thing out there - looking forward to June. - Inspired Writing Research
Amazon is only stopping payments to people who buy a PPC ad that links directly to Amazon. "If your own website has links to Amazon’s US or Canadian sites and you are using these or other similar services to send users to your own website, you should not be affected by this change..." from the FAQ. (Whew! Got worried for a second there . . .) - LJF Wolffe
That said, you could always check out commission junction (cj.com) or linkshare (linkshare.com) for affiliates, or go to another bookstore (Barnes & Noble, Powell's, etc.) if you want to sell a book on your niche. 8-} - LJF Wolffe
Incidentally, unless you manage to give Amazon a tonne of traffic you're probably not going to get a paycheck from them. I've been an affiliate for ages, but not a dime! - Seang-Lim Tan

The “Movement Must Originate From Centre” Cliche | Taijipedia
It's an old cliché of Taiji. You hear teachers all over the world honking on about this again and again. But what does it mean? In theory, it's easy to understand this, the whole body is connected, and so if you move your centre (or the dan tien) the rest of you will inevitably move. - Seang-Lim Tan

Connecting to Centre - Advanced Practise | Taijipedia
From the page: "The second video Greeny took on more advanced ways to practise moving from your core. If you're already moving from your centre, hereâ€s a few things to think about to develop the idea a little further. Itâ€s worth noting the way the creases on Greenyâ€s t-shirt move. You can tell the way his centre is moving from the way the creases arrange themselves. Enjoy!" - Seang-Lim Tan

The X2 Vest is a one size fits all weight vest for the casual keep-fitter. Ideal if you want to lose a bit of weight and tone up. It'll even help you build bone density if you wear it thoughout the day. The weights are removable so you can take weights out and work with a lower load and work it up gradually. Start with no more than 10% of your body weight and increase the load over time. - Seang-Lim Tan

This probably makes it even more important to rotate your PINs. Information Security professionals recommend changing your critical passwords every month or so, so it makes sense to do the same with your credit card PIN.
