OK so it’s a quote totally out of context, but now we’ve got the Commodores in your head we’re hoping to make things ‘all right’ by doing something positive during the Toronto ‘Garbage Strike’. From midnight this Friday (the 27th) until 2pm on Saturday (the 28th) the FTJCo is mobile on the night shift ; providing garbage removal for $10 a bag or 6 for $50 with ALL proceeds going to War Child Canada. By providing this essential service we limit illegal dumping, keep Toronto clean, get to share some smiles and connect with our community through an awesome cause.

They should let the Apple Store employees use this, every time I buy something there they use those clunky UPS style handheld POS devices.
- Jesse Hattabaugh
this is totally getting put in my store, think about being able to close (and get paid for) a sale anywhere this is awesome! *after typing the above message I forgot to add: it probably doesn't work in Canada :(
- Ryan Taylor
Thanks for the mention! We're working on adding support for Canada.
- Derek Del Conte
Security-wise, I loathe having to give up my card for someone to go swipe it, but I loathe the thought of someone number-by-number keying it in even more.
- Justin Hart
YUVI!! OMG, I'm SO proud! So, what'd you think? Wait, what about Return of the Jedi and Empire Strikes Back? Watching all three in a row = My DREAM date. Not even kidding
- Mona Nomura
@Mona - it was GOOD :) The opening was cheesy, but perhaps that's because I've seen so many parodies before seeing the original :) I'm seeing 4,5 and 6 sequentially with gaps of 3 days between them, to, y'know, maintain the story line/suspense :) My only gripe was the casting of the Princess, and how she is as annoying as Asin in Dasavatharam. Kinda cute, but annoying at the same time :)
- Yuvi
Oh Yuvi, I'm SO happy to hear that. Seriously. I can go on and on about the Original Star Wars series :) And trust me, it only gets better. Princess Leia will grow on you, as well. Just WAIT!
- Mona Nomura
Yep Yuvi, hear Mona! Btw, I heard a parody where in the beginning of the movie Vader is looking for his headphone. Guess who he said that had stolen it? LOL

Tim Hortons has gone down hill drastically in quality/service. The Voodo Doughnut link is Brilliant! That's what Timmys should be trying!

I live around the corner from Wal-Mart store #1, and I've been in there at 2am. Based on what I've seen, I suspect that Ms. Jackson's idea of casual attire hovers somewhere in the twilight between Clan of the Cave Bear and Oscar the Grouch.
- Roger Benningfield
My grandmother calls it 'WAL-MARKS'. I've also watched her literally curse out a pot of beans for not cooking fast enough. Another time, she threatened to put my uncle 'under the floor'. Never quite figured out what that meant but I was really young at the time. My grandmother is clearly someone you do NOT want to mess with.

You know it's French, right? Like "Colbert", the "t" is silent.
- Ken Sheppardson
Ken, like how the terminating 't' in 'Target' is also silent?

I would think that the liquor store would be the prime location for casual dress. Especially if it has video poker machines.

@Caleb I love the Google Reader Bookmarklet. I think I'm not using it as much as feedly but I need more friends. On the other hand, Feedly really plays havoc with my google reader tags...I'm not to crazy about that.
- Michelle Marie Miller
hey, I could use a Toluu invite if anyone can help ;) paulwhit@gmail.com. Also, anybody else turned off by Feedly being Firefox only?
- Paul Whitaker
Michelle did you try the fixes for, er, fixing the google reader screw up issues withfeedly?

Correcting: Toluu + Feedly + Google Reader = My choice
- Igor Poltavskiy
Both! I support all products that debut on louisgray.com <ducks>
- Louis Gray
So far, Feedly > Toluu > gReader (in taht order) Michelle: Thank you
- Mona Nomura
@michael I fixed my tag manually. Not the best way I know but it seemed to work. I see what they were trying to do with my feeds. Maybe I'm just OCD ;)
- Michelle Marie Miller
Feedly is a good way to ruin (temporarily) your GReader feeds
- Jorge
Can anybody spare a toluu invite to toluu@kshep.net? Thanks!
- Ken Sheppardson
@Jorge damn you we not kidding; hopefully I'll keep using Feedly, so far not loving it, rather have my Google Reader. As per the original question, Toluu all the way, but like Caleb stated, they are not really after the same thing.
- Snay Trivedi
Both! Oh my goodness both so hard it hurts.
- Bwana ☠
Quick note: in feedly 1.0b3 you can undo all the feedly changes. see: http://edwink.devhd.com/2008... If you are a google reader user and try feedly, it is recommended not to import any additional sources in the welcome wizard.

i love the google reader + toluu bookmarklet makes it easier

I wish they were integrated... can't read my feeds without feedly, but I wish Toluu's social aspects were accessible within feedly. :) As a provider of information, I annotate and share via Twitter, FriendFeed, and Email, depending on my intended audience, and nothing gets that job done better than feedly. But as a consumer of information, love the matching of Toluu.
- Kenneth LeFebvre
toluu actually got me to use google reader which strips all the ads off blogs and eliminates the need to perform next pages and going to various sites...love toluu

I have 2 toluu invites ,, up for grabs ,, tweet me @fotographic
- johnpiercy
Great to see all of these fantastic points, we work with all feed readers because we don't want to have to convince people to switch to a new reader or loose focus on the discovery and social aspects that are core to Toluu.

"There has been much talk of Twitter users moving over to FriendFeed since Twitter replies were down for the majority of last week. Twitter announced that they were back on Saturday in their blog, but seeing as the outage may have inspired some users to flock to FriendFeed, I decided to take a look at the 3rd-party applications and scripts that enhance the FriendFeed functionality. For those of you moving on to FriendFeed’s greener pastures, here are 13 essential tools for an organized, “noise”-free experience."

I thought about making NoiseRiver a closed alpha (by invites) actually. But then told to myself: to hell with hesitation, let's make it and face bugs together! ;-)

D: BTW there is a GM script that will help you subscribe. Google "Better Friendfeed Subscribe to me". After you load it you go into your "People who scribe to me" tab. It adds a superscribe button.
