Until now I've loved OpenDNS, but I always forget the ip and have to look it up - 8.8.8.8 on the other hand is a lot easier to remember. It also occasionally frustrates me when OpenDNS resolves an invalid domain name, so that's another plus. Seems as though it's probably much faster than other public services like OpenDNS when outside the US, but in the US it's about the same speed or slightly slower." - Tony Buser
