"The Japanese video game developer Taito continues to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the classic Space Invaders game and releases yet another cool and geeky product.
These new tumblers stand 7.87 inches (20cm) tall and can hold up to 16 oz of liquid. There are three different styles to choose from; a black, a pink and a blue one. The three Space Invaders Tumblers from Taito are available for purchase over at the National Console Support, Inc website for $12.90 a pop." - Cee Bee

“what channel do you watch for the debates, poliitcal analysis, election returns, etc? I like CNN - the are very balanced in their commentary - plus, they totally own the multi-touch map stuff. Even though I tend to be very conservative, I find FoxNews to be obnoxiously tilted to the right. CNN has...”
We don't have cable so there's no need for decisions. - Paul W. Swansen
I've found PBS in HD to be the best for my needs, no ticker, banner, or any other distractions, just the debate. I was considering checking out Current TV, not sure if I get it here or not, but it looked interesting. - cmiper
Indeed, HD quality, color balance, the crop of the shot. That's all that matters for the debate itself. - Marko "Bon" Bon

PBS ... it doesn't add all the cruft to the screen during the debate, Followup commentary is balanced and from reputable sources. Then I switch over to "Real Time", Bill Maher's show, for serious brawling. - Clay Newton
CSPAN for the debate. Alternate between Fox and MSNBC for analysis. Between those two extremes you can then divine the middle on your own. - Warner Crocker
The 'new' GnR album exclusive to Best Buy by the end of 2008? With a long track record of delays for Chinese Democracy, have to believe this one when we see it shipping to stores. - TDavid

Some of the titles for this have been hilarious: Impalin' Palin, Sarah Bare A Cooter, Erection Day, Veep Throat, Oval Orifice, Not Without My Daughter, Drilling the Alaskan Pipeline, Drill Here Drill Now, Nailin' Palin .... You get the picture. ;) - Kevin Hessel
Been using eWallet for years on Pocket PC, now it works with iPhone and iPod Touch. If you need a place to securely manage all your web passwords on the go (256-bit AES encryption) or at the desktop, this app is a winner. - TDavid

I'd like to know the same... how does this compare to 1Password? - Joe Perrin
@Brad big difference: eWallet for PC desktop only, 1Password is tightly integrated with Apple keychain. On the Mac you might want to compare SplashID to 1Password. - TDavid
Here's a blog post comparing SplashID and 1Password for Mac users (not by me): http://halfpie.net/article/829... -- SplashID will sync across both Mac and Windows. This reviewer gave SplashID 3 stars and 1Password 4 stars. - TDavid
Leave up the ruined sign. Make a hand made sign next to it. "I believe in freedom of speech, don't you?" - AJ Kohn
Heard about this stuff happening on the radio yesterday. Lame. Can't people make a political statement without destruction and vandalism? - TDavid
No sign in my yard, but my neighbor has a McCain sign and another neighbor down the street has an Obama one. Both have stood unmolested for over a week now. - Phil Glockner
My mom put an Obama magnet on her car, keep in mind we live in Oklahoma. I worry about it. :/ Isn't that interesting, I am more worried about a redneck than a terrorist of a different sort? - Not Not Geoff Schultz
"Duncan - just curious here: do you have a regular plan of backup for the third party hosted comments "just in case" Disqus/FF melts down? So many third party sites come and go, just check the Google 2001 database. This is the primary reason to stay away from these third party hosted systems. I know the comments left 5+ years ago at my blog are still in tact and still searchable. Do you envision that will be the case for Disqus and FF?" - TDavid
Scoble - your stuff might hang around longer if you did your own web hosting rather than relying on third party hosting deal after third party hosting deal. - TDavid
Think Guitar Hero and Rock Band on your PC, plus you can create your own playable songs. Open source, tons of mods and a growing community behind it. - TDavid

FoF is great. Lots of importers to get GH and RB tracks into it, too. Don't forget about JamLegend, either, which is online and multiplayer with a ladder (and still beta/requiring invites for now, btw, iirc). Beware with FoF that your keyboard needs to be one that allows you to use all of its keys at once...many (surprisingly, still) do not. - abacab
If you already have Guitar Hero you can use your GH guitar as well. Same with Rock Band drums (if you get the Alarian mod). JamLegend is less work to get into since it's in the browser and not a downloadable program, but not a lot of music with that yet and no way to create your own tracks (yet). - TDavid

A well-known mac-only app that allows users to scan the barcodes of their CDs, game systems, DVDs, books, etc (anything with a barcode, really) via their iSight (scanners, even portable ones can be purchased at an additional fee). - Soup

The only downside I've found to this is when it doesn't find the item, which can happen with some books and DVD and then you have to manually enter in. When you can scan it with the iSight it's a sweet thing. - TDavid
@TDavid, That is a drag I agree. The new version has a somewhat better manual add/search engine I've found. - Soup
