This year our US FIRST team is composed of both a rookie FTC and a veteran FRC team that has been around since 1998. It is a big change for AR159 to have two teams working at the same time. Logomotion, the FRC challenge now includes an endgame that involves mini-bots using FTC parts.
The build season has started and FIRST Robotics team Alpine Robotics 159 is gearing up for six weeks of hard, action packed work. GO LOGOMOTION!
Pre-season training is beginning shortly for new members. A website redesign is in beta at the moment. Suggestions for improvements?
Website updates are coming in the next few weeks. Photo gallery issues prevented more 2010 media from being added previously. To increase page load speed on the media page, media from before 2008 will be archived onto a separate page. The video and parent portal page are receiving major updates as well.

Our website is fully functional in a modern web browser. IE 7 and later, Safari, Chrome, and Firefox are fully supported. IE 6 is old, and not standards compliant and has issues with redering the alpine robotics website. IE 7 and above work perfectly well. This is a response to several complaints about the website not functioning correctly in IE 6.
Having some website issues that are being attended to currently.

Two days until we have to ship our robot off. Then about 4/5 weeks until the regional competition in Denver. Then another 4 weeks until the Championship in Atlanta. I think we are ready to go.
