Just about every employee of the company is on Twitter. It's hard to tweet without hitting one. :) - Hal Rottenberg
It's not like you sent one to @zapposCEO.. besides, he seems like a nice guy. - mark
Yeah, Tony is a cool guy. He won't mind. He's the one that really pushed his employees to Tweet. He also encourages other companies to do the same. He's doing some innovative management stuff there. (My fave is they offer new employees cash to leave as a test of their commitment/loyalty) - Paul Reynolds
own it. he's supposed to be the king of customer service anyway - Josh Haley
Excellent picture. Now I wanna move to the Bay :P - imabonehead
I always liked the westerly view, when the fog is creeping over the mountains. - mark
First time to SFO was a redeye flight from Honolulu that landed at sunrise there. Awesome view and Journey's "Lights" kept going through my head. "and the sun shines on the bay". Don't live in the area anymore but was cool when I did. - Josh Haley
i need to get to the city - this burbs thing is for teh birds! - Morgan
A positive note: I don't think it can get any worst... so things should start to get better now. =) - Dani Figueiredo
@Dani: oh, no, you shouldn't have said that. You should never ever underestimate the power of Murphy's law. - Mauro
@Mauro: That's true! =X ... *feeling sorry for underestimate the power of Murphy's law, and hoping Murphy will give Felicia a break today - well, at least for the rest of the day...* - Dani Figueiredo
It seems as if the people with the most problems have been upgraders and heavy AppStore app users. Let's hope 2.0.x is on the way! - Paul Reynolds
I would have to be one of those app happy people.. love me some apps! - Socom
To borrow from the cereal slogan... Gotta have my Apps! - Paul Reynolds
I had to do the same thing. Just sad that I lost my Super Monkey Ball levels. - mark
Ya, when I had mine replaced I lost all my Enigmo lvls and my Aurora Feint.. which btw is a great game, I guess its going to be turning into mmorpg of some sort they say. Either way, fun :) - Socom
From Bryan on Facebook: Engaging a community in conversation: How about a virtual relay race on Google maps tracked by pin placements with an ongoing conversation on each pin? Put it in a blog/forum/wiki where people can comment on the race/racers/direction/next place to go. - Randy Ksar
I have mine chosen, but I'll be damned if I'm doing it til they figure out why they're still showing as available after being purchased, etc. - Bradley McSpinn
Most of these will result in an email a half hour after they have taken your money letting you know that it has already been registered. - Sacca
I remember when the .eu TLD's opened up I tried to get bl.eu but no luck. - Mark Krynsky
Quite amazed to see how fast all the good .me names have gone! - Adil Mohammed
There is no longer a reason to have TLDs. They're just a scam to keep people paying more money to keep their brand from being used by someone else. How many tried to grab pepsi.me or exxon.me? - Ernie Oporto
Just got join.me, catch.me, find.me, you.me - NOT :( - Nir Ben Yona via twhirl
ezee.me avail, wrt.me avail, wore.me avail, dearly.me avail, luvin.me avial ... god there are so many out there... i cant buy them all... got one 4 char .me - slax
There was once a sociable lady of Rome,
Who blogged in an old catacomb.
When the FriendFeeders came to prey,
She'd keep them at bay,
With an offer of Scoble in her home. http://tinyurl.com/6j2t2o - Geoff Longman
actually, including yours, Jake, it's 28. (29 counting this one.) ;-) - Karim
Is it just me or is this one word social media post thing is getting a bit tired? - Daniel Smith via twhirl
What single word could Scoble post that would produce the most comments+likes? Does it even matter what the word is? - klecu
I love the limerick. This is the most fun I've seen of FriendFeed all day. - Dennis E. Hamilton
drat! some comments magically appeared *before* my last post. [shakes fist at friendfeed comment ordering code] one, two, three, four... five... - Karim
You really enjoy hearing your own name that much? Sad... - Jason Carreira
an english word, noun, 1) human powered search mechanism integrated with an encyclopedia, 2) weather vane , verb, 1) to interview or expose an idea or concept within 24 hours of inception - Gregory Lent
in olden times, thought to be a real person, but this is clearly not possible - Gregory Lent
e.g. "The dev team is going to scoble the new app this afternoon." - Karim
The next hot craze in tech gadget - iScoble - imabonehead
e.g. "The young web developers worked for months on thier new social media app in the hopes of one day being Scobled" - John Worthington
He was trying to search for his name in the iPhone version of FF. The search box is at the bottom but by accident he used the post box on top. Right Scoble? - Steve Rubel
as soon as Apple approves it and adds in to the store - Robert Scoble
cool interview, always liked twinkle better - videopixil via twhirl
that guy in the red shirt came off a little as a patronizing douche. I'm sure he's not...maybe just nervous...but that's what he came off as on the video. - Sean McGee
Twinkle was a great app on 1.4, and I was sad to not see it in the 2.0 world. No more saddness! (Of course I am really waiting for someone to give me the golden ticket to using the QIK app) - mark
I <3 twinkle. My only qualm is how long it takes to load up tweets at startup over edge. Would be great on 3G methinks. - Josh Lowensohn
@Allen Stern, didn't you know? The iPhone is made from Twinkles, Monkeys, and True Love? It's where the /magic/ comes from... - xero
Twitterific better hurry up and make their tracking feature more useful. I already paid $10 dollars just to wipe the dumb ads. I wrote an email to the developers letting them know they need to implement features of Twinkle. They replied with: "We are currently working on it." - Michael Narciso
Another great jailbreak app crossing over to the App Store ... - Patrick Jordan
PCNERD, Sarah, Frank, brian, Ian, Larry, paulm, feedalizr: thanks for positive comments of support (unlike Mr. Stern who is a haters hater... ) - Jason Calacanis
the big question on every ones mind.. if you won, would you follow through? - mark
the bigger question. if you didn't win, would you STILL follow through?! sorry, been watching too many episodes of How I Met Your Mother. gotta love Barney! - Matt Musgrave
"Feel better" implies you're feeling bad, and that's unfortunate. All this really means is that a magazine focused on feminine beauty thinks you're pretty. It's no different than a fashion magazine including you in a list of bloggers with great taste in shoes, or ESPN mentioning you in a list of Most Athletic Bloggers. It speaks to and compliments one facet of who you are, and that's nothing to feel odd about. - Roger Benningfield
Yes, this really is a big question. I always had an opinion that being naked on Playboy means the highest popularity level any woman can reach. So why do many of the participants insist they won't pose if they win? - Svetlana Gladkova
Svetlana: Playboy is a song that not everyone can sing, and even if they can carry the tune, some women just aren't into that style of music. So I think it's just fine if any or all of the ladies in question decline to take the stage... I just hope none of them (Sarah included) are made uncomfortable by the offer itself. - Roger Benningfield
I am not uncomfortable with the offer at all. - Sarah Austin
is it like the oscars? it's an honor just to be nominated? or is it just really creepy? - robert steburg
Sarah: FWIW, I have no idea why you're not at least in the top three right now. It's really gotta be a matter of the photos they decided to use. - Roger Benningfield
@robert: This is what I always thought - that a photo session in Playboy is something like an honor for a woman showing that she really is a super star. - Svetlana Gladkova via twhirl
Wow, I'm having trouble installing 2.0 but i've already bought 4 apps for when i get it going and have about 20 free apps I'm going to try out - Andrew Fielding via twhirl
You guys should check out my new iPhone Web App on your iphone - it aggregates all web apps for iPhone and iPod touch... http://www.applejuicr.com - James
AppZapper for iPhone required. I can't believe that prefs and caches get deleted properly...hope I'm wrong and lots of crud is not left behind! - John Samuelson
yeah i've become an app addict as well. I've only spent 1.99...i'm not sure about spending 9.99 for anything yet...Though I really see Apps taking off when Apples push service hits the ground running. - aka Taylor
This has been the least productive day at work for me, and I'm a slacker on a regular basis.. 10 apps so far - mark
Especially insane if you happen to work for a company that already offers Exchange push. I just (in the interest of full disclosure) looked at all of the features again and, to be honest, the only thing that really appeals to me is having an @me.com email address simply for ease of use. Then again, if I'm going to use that email address, and everything's going to come to my phone, that's going to annoy the hell out of me. I like the customization that I can do thru other services, to pick and choose. - Bradley McSpinn
i think google's vision on .mac, and now .me is for a lesser tech-aware crowd to get into doing simple things online for a premium. Most, if not all, of these services are available elsewhere for free. - Brian Ries
You can host your own domain on the service and $99 a year is not bad at all. Would you complain if they said it was $8 dollars a month? For someone who doesn't want to use GMail's crap IMAP implementation it's a very good deal. - Michael Narciso
69.99 if you buy mobileme at the time of purchase of an iPhone 3G - Cole Orton
you can use your domain with .mac but only in a limited way... not with your email... - Robert
Cont: and for the average joe user who doesn't want to deal with setting up hosting services and maintaining it's a pretty good service. I like how it's synced up with almost everything I do on the iPhone and my Mac. I can't wait for my .mac to be upgraded. - Michael Narciso
waiting for the service, i have high expectation - Hunkie Chan
"but purchasers of an iPhone 3G will be able to score a subscription for $69 on Friday" this is clearly targeted towards new customers. As usual existing customers get pay higher fees - I guess that is the price you pay for your loyalty. - Vic Podcaster
I agree with everyone else, that yearly price is a bit on the crazy side. $99 lifetime wouldn't be bad though. - Chris
What does Yahoo! POP mail access cost? - Adam Turetzky
I like having a personal syncing system for contacts and calendar, outside of work. This is well worth $8 a month. - Andrew Burd
I looked at the pros and cons of using .Mac in the context of Google Apps and much of what you can do with .Mac is available in some form or another through Google and other services but .Mac offers a very easy way to back stuff up really easily in a way that integrates far better with the Mac OS than anything else. I am still not sure about the $99 cost but it was ultimately worthwhile for me to sign up. I am quite excited to see what the move to MobileMe adds to the mix. - Paul Jacobson via twhirl
I can't see the point of $99 for something you can pretty much get from either a web hosting account (with equiv features less than $99) and a Google Account. Any WebDAV disk mounts just like MobileMe/.Mac. So "integration" isn't really a selling point. It's just easy setup. - Robert Accettura
Yeah, I agree that the service could do with being a bit cheaper, but I do think that there is a lot of value in the service. What I really love about it is the synchronisation of my data across multiple devices. I can completely drop gCal now that there's a calender web UI for MobileMe. - Paul Grav
My biggest worry is that Apple has always been slow to iterate when it comes to their web properties (specifically .Mac). Hope this product continues to evolve even after it's launched. - Kevin Rose
I want to use it, but not willing to pay for it. If I buy the devices, the service and space should be free. - Matt Musgrave
I've subscribed to the service since day 1 when it was the free iTools and I couldn't be happier with the easiest and nicest looking system for quickly sharing photos online which takes almost no technical expertise to get something that looks good quickly. Syncing my bookmarks, contacts and calendars across 4 machines has totally been worth the money! - Adam Turetzky
I don't see the need for the service. With the exception of Back2MyMac, I can do anything offered on my own. - mark
Would be nice if other companies jump on-board with this and use Apple's push implementation. Think of the other enterprise mail/contact/calendaring companies that DON'T want to use Exchange. I can think of lots. Zimbra. Novell. SugarCRM. Kerio. The list goes on. If they get on board, MobileMe could be huge. - Glenn Batuyong via twhirl
