I find this all amusing yet pathetic at the same time. Dave, Jason, Shel etc are all supposed to be leaders within the tech industry but with all of this, you are acting like spoilt children. Your all supposed to be grown men but can never resolve anything in a civilized manner and to be perfectly honest, I’m starting to questions the reasons why I’m following the on-going conversation. @jason, the puppets may be funny, they may not be, that's subjective. Personally if I never see you in a hot tub again it will be too soon... but I digress... the point is that "social media" shouldn't be about eviserating someone who, in the end, is pretty harmless isn't he? Shouldn't we be attacking *ideas* not the person? @jason... if you meant no harm and really participated all in good fun, then just man-up and say "hey Shel, sorry your feelings got hurt, it was meant as a compliment, and hey, Mahalo and you could both use some publicity so why don't I sponsor you". Stop telling him to "get over it" and start recognizing why he may think it went to far. Personally I think he should have embraced them at first, but then things got nasty on all sides...
