My favorite FriendFeed URLs. I love the discussion page. Why? It's where you can see what stuff of YOURS I "liked" or "commented" on. I wish this page was easier to find. - http://friendfeed.com/scoblei...
I also REALLY love the search. Especially advanced search in FriendFeed. Not many people have figured out the magic that is the search engine here yet.
- Robert Scoble
Nice... I'd like a button for this on the front page. As it is, I'm going to tag it on del.icio.us.

Natural successor to subscribing to your Google Reader shares Robert.

The Advanced Search is awesome...it's a shame there isn't a link to it right under the search box on the 'Friends' page.
- Chris Rossini
Bob: if you visit your "Me" page and look to the right, you'll see links for comments and discussions or "See both." This link is the "See both" page for my account. I can see everything you've commented on by doing the same for your account.
- Robert Scoble
I wish you didn't lose the "hide" command though when you go to this and other non main FF pages.
- Thomas Hawk
Speaking of the search, does anyone know what powers it behind the scenes? Sphinx search? Lucene? Solr?
- Eric Florenzano
Bruce: I have a similar workflow, but it evolves over time. Timestamps will help.

"Ferris Plock is an artist living and working in the city of San Francisco. His work is primarily character-based imagery that incorporates his passion for storytelling. Surrealist and seemingly innocent, Ferris' work doesn't subscribe to any particular genre. Based on sketches, his artwork more often than not incorporates animals or monsters in everyday human conditions- going to work,...

I'm trying to say no. But twitter is too easy and fun!
- Shoichi
YEs, much less small, inane stuff. More big entries.

Absolutely. Sometimes there's not enough to justify a whole blog post -- just a snippet of something interesting. A fleeting thought. These can be better captured in Twitter than a “traditional” blog.

I haven't blog in a long time due to several reasons being twitter one of them. yet am working on rebranding it as we speak

but then twitter is down like today and right now... and u feel like there should be something like this!

Yes, 99.9% less. But I wasn't really a blogger to begin with. $5 per month doesn't go very far :)
- Mike Reynolds
Yup...I twitter 200 times a day - I blog maybe twice a month
- Stephen Pierzchala
Less time for blogging and less time for other things too! My life is tweeting away.
- Boris Gordon
from twhirl
Yep. It's so much easier to type 140 characters than a whole blog entry. :-(
- Joey Gibson
Yes, but didn't blog much to begin with. However, have linked my twitter to Tumblr, so it has become blogging of sorts.

I wouldn't give up blogging for Twitter.
- Phil Glockner
I actually blog more now. Twitter often inspires.
- Todd Jordan
Uh no lol. It just means I'm increasing my ADHD...via feedalizr

Between Twitter, blogging and FF, there's little time for anything else. =)
- Ryne Nelson
Not just twitter, a slew of social media apps (ranging from FB to twitter and now FF) does dimish the imperative to blog. Just my $0.02.
- Mario Sundar
I've watched the best bloggers of my generation lose their words to twitter
- tedr
I find I'm twittering more than blogging - mind you I've never really blogged much, tend to do it when I remember I haven't posted in so long
- Kcrystina
since most blog posts are just long versions of what the blogger could probably tweet, i'm excited about the microblogging direction... easier to follow, more timely, and takes less time

Twitter means blog less short and link-only posts

Yeah, I had a chicken (and a rabbit and a dog and a turtle) when I was young. Fond memories of Silicon Valley life as a child.
- Robert Scoble
So, when will Milan receive his first chick or rabbit from the Feed and Fuel?? And, more importantly... will you let him name it/them himself??

Unfortunately we travel too much and don't have a good yard for raising animals. I have a feeling a cat is in our future due to a little rodent problem we're having lately, though. Sigh.
- Robert Scoble
I like simple. I think just charge if you want to send more than 3 posts a day. Most people will start never thinking they'd need more than 3, and most people once reliant on it will think the fee is a small price to pay. But I think their plans require more revenue than a subscription model will bring them, which is a different topic altogether.

Cool idea, but seems like a pipe dream. Meme trackers have a hard enough time tracking the links. Twitter will have a tough time as well.
- Andrew Dobrow
@Andrew, I like that term. "Meme Tracker" Sounds edgy
