Just called Mary at Comcast, returning message from yesterday: http://www.tengrrl.com/blog... She's "not taking calls" because of a computer issue.
Mary from Comcast called back. She's working on the issue & seemed positive. Maybe the tide is turning, as they say.
I really can't get a break on this Comcast refund.

The $300 refund Comcast owes me is 0.00008% of their bid to buy NBC. Maybe that's why they can't send me the money.

.@alechosterman Thanks. Frustrating that Comcast is fast to do Twitter damage control, but then dump you into a slow email system. Sigh.
@Freekie Still waiting. Today makes it exactly 5 months waiting for a $300 refund. If @comcastcares they certainly don't show it.
.@alechosterman Yes, I tweeted. Comcast replied & told me to email. That's how I got to this point (that & the 7 ppl from previous tries).
So replied to Comcast with address & got this back: "Thank you. I apologize for the oversight." That's right. Nothing about the REFUND.

Emailed Comcast, as instructed. 3 hrs later, response asks for my mailing address. I included it in my original email. Seriously people.
.@ComcastGeorge She never called back. Refund is on equipment turned in nearly 5 months ago. The delay in sending me a check is absurd.
.@ComcastGeorge Last rep I talked to said she would call me back next day and that I would have the money before Christmas. That was 11/20.
@ComcastBonnie Can you check on my refund from July? Was on 11/20 I'd get a callback the next day. More than 2 weeks later, still nothing.
Will Comcast ever send me the $300 refund? Waiting since 07/08/09. Six reps have told me 6 different things. Sigh.

TiVo is set up. It's been in the box for a year. Need to buy/find a cable to loop in DVD player. Still, an accomplishment.
