Cooking and listening to ECM on a warm summer night. Sometimes that's okay.
I like MJ's music. Quite a lot, actually. But the media coverage is too much for my taste - I need a good hour or so with the Cramps now.
Thanks for filling in all the blanks @popdose - and @eltororojo in particular - I had never heard Sam Phillips' Martinis & Bikinis before.
As part of my ongoing Rod Temperton project, I'm listening to the Running Scared soundtrack for the first time ever. Much synth, indeed.
@tedasregadoo Office Space! I hate printers. I love technology, but printers are the lowest form of pond scum, along with cell phones.
http://twitpic.com/8de0c - "Brother" used to be a swear word in English, didn't it? Damn those exclamation marks.

Took a bike ride to Kraftwerk's "Tour de France" album. It felt wrong, I felt like Jessica Fletcher to a drum beat. Tomorrow: Pat Boone.
@jasonhare Yes! This is what bothered me - a hardcore Bread hipster would never be able to hate on Olivia. You know about these things Jason
@jasonhare No, but she replaced it with a "wahwahwahwahwahwahhhng" Fender Rhodes sound that is present throughout the song.
This is getting too complicated. Cheese, easy cheese, Cheez Whiz.... I'm going for a walk.
Would preferring ONJ's version of "If" over Bread's qualify as sacrilege? Not that I do of course; just a curious and mind-boggling thought.
Off for a Midsummer Night's Dream? Well, Midsummer celebration, at least.
@tedasregadoo Hey, maybe I could get an electronic Thuja crusher?
Taken in by gardening. Anyone interested in a couple of weatherworn, skimpy thujas?
Age punches you in the face all the time. Just caught a Cheers rerun where Cliff Clavin was one year younger than I am now. Not cool at all.
@goddsen 140 *tegn* Gunhild, ikke 2 *ord*, ikke sant?
@jasonhare Ah, you're lucky - almost everything's formatted here so listening to the radio to discover music isn't really an option anymore.
The Push Stars for today's workout? Hmmm, OK.
@jasonhare That's a good one. A... shimmering summer morning, I take it?
I will never, ever get a grip on Tori Amos. Because I'm a guy? An emotional simpleton? Both?
@jefito With Thunder and Lightning, no less.
Giant kicks in on random play and I can't help but laughing.
@heerik :-( Er ikke karakterer og pensum egentlig nokså gitt i matte? Kan vel ikke være din feil hvis de gjorde det bra i klasserommet??
@tedasregadoo Still struggling, I'm afraid - but I'm trying not to be too miserable about it. I'm aiming for a comeback in... 2012?
Too restless to watch tv or sit in front of the computer. Taking a walk - must be the weather. Or because I've been in storage for so long..
No matter where I hide them, all these little crystal bears, Kinder surprises and Hello Kitty items keep popping up on my piano. Arhgh
Of course they were.
Will the Housemartins be good company during my one-hour bike workout? I'll find out in a second.
Maritime's "We, the Vehicles" is a nice soundtrack to a lazy, sunny Sunday. Elevator indie, sort of, or easy indie.
Do I organize my jazz mp3s by group (Art Farmer Quartet) or simply by artist name (Art Farmer)? So many choices, so many decisions.
