Google Voice is an interesting reason, but not enough to really make a dent. I mean most people still have home phone numbers instead of just using their mobile. In a year or so this might be a good reason, but right now it won't have any significant effect besides more negative sentiment for AT&T. - Tony from iPhone
True, in itself, it's not a big deal. I think the precedent that Apple is setting is the deal-breaker...maybe for me, too. It was tolerable when they rejected the tethering app. It was palatable when they rejected various browsers. But rejecting Google Voice when other VOIP apps are still around is a clear dictatorship. If Apple/AT&T don't like you, you're out. And the users lose. - Scott Magdalein
