We hadn't talked in over 10 years. But this was the email he sent me out of the blue: "Dear Ana, apologies upfront for this no doubt random seeming email from a long ago (and perhaps long forgotten) friend, but I was reading up on an interesting new webtool, and as I was checking the company info, there you were. The randomness of this event inspired me to look you up and send this quick note. I realize it's been eons, but If you have the time/interest I'd love to hear back from you and reconnect. I've never felt there should be a statute of limitation on such things, and I hope you feel the same!"

I read this article that Bret shared and decided I was definitely leaning towards Barack. Then, I read more about him, watched the debates more closely, and saw how people abroad were responding to his win in Iowa. But it all started from this one article (and by extension, FriendFeed :)
