$60 not just a good practice amp, it also records well. got one of these a year ago and it sounds really great. still somehow has that Vox sound even tho it's solid-state and has a 6.5" speaker. mine cost about $75 at the time, but i would still buy a second one even at that price.

"The Samson Stage 5T wireless microphone system provides affordable, quality wireless technology for every use, whether you need a headset mic, a clip-on lavalier interview mic, or a wireless system for a guitar or bass. This system includes a SR5 VHF receiver, a ST5 bodypack transmitter, a HS5 headset, a LM5 lavalier microphone, and a special guitar cable that's compatible with the transmitter. The SR5 receiver features a single, telescoping antenna and large output volume dial for easy level adjusting. The rear panel reveals both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" phone output connectors. Audio level and radio signal meters are located on the front panel. The ST5 bodypack transmitter utilizes a VHF frequency band with a range between 173.80-213.20MHz. The transmitter power output is rated at 20mW (U.S.) resulting in clear reception with a range of up to 300' (under ideal conditions). The bodypack includes both the HS5 headset microphone, the LM5 lavalier, and the guitar cable, and is powered for up to 6 hours via a single 9V alkaline battery." - seems pretty cheap.

"The 14-minute video Guitar Drag, 2000, shows an amplified Fender guitar attached to a rope being pulled behind a pick-up truck. As the guitar drags across back roads and dirt trails, it produces a range of cacophonous musical sounds that often correlate to what is seen. Guitar Drag explores the collected mythologies of the guitar, the rural South and the truck, and Marclay evokes such disparate associations as rock-and-roll guitar smashing and the history of lynching in the South. This is the first half of the 14 minute video"

I seriously thought you were talking about sports announcers.

Don't people have different pickups and play them through different amps, etc? (asks the vocalist who always played acoustic guitar and knows nothing about pickups and amps)

the Telecasters i'm talking about are pretty much always the same in terms of electronics and basic design (i'm excluding the Thinline, Deluxe and Custom as well as other later variants).

IME the person playing the instrument is generally the biggest variable, but the rest covers nearly half of the sound.

Play 40-50 $130 Squiers and you'll find some great ones and some dogs. Same w/ vintage gear.

2. DVD'de grup elemanlarının hikayeleri süper. Mesela gitar çalan eleman aslında MIT öğrencisiyken Steve Vai'nin plak şirketinde ofisboy olarak işe başlamış sonrasında grubuna katılmış.

Because the quality in a Les Paul that everyone hates is a lack of weight, right? Comes with a 6 inch wide strap and medicated back pain patch.

The Wrecking Crew | Movie | Tommy Tedesco, Carol Kaye, Hal Blaine, Don Randi, Glen Campbell, Earl Palmer--Super-great!! - http://www.wreckingcrewfilm.com/
Even when I didn't know who the Wrecking Crew were, I fixated on Tommy Tedesco's name. It's very euphonious. (I saw his name on a Partridge Family album I had when I was a kid.)

I've been making my way through the website. It's hard to believe they still need to do grassroots funding in that Harry Shearer and Elvis Costello (who wrote glowing reviews) could fund the film/DVD out of what they've got lying in-between their couch cushions.
