w00t. Been shopping at the PLoS online store http://www.zazzle.com/plos yesterday and again today. Latest one is from the very interesting range designed by world renowned fashion guru, Michael Eisen http://www.zazzle.com/mbeisen Was able to customize this one so added the image on the right to the back of the shirt. Nice... #PLoS#sciencecommons
As PLoS pointed out to me, the "Where Would Jesus Publish?" shirt is in the mbeisen Zazzle store, not the PLoS one. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to customize it (I'll spare the details) so have re-ordered the original item today...

I just ordered a shirt with the ONS logo - unfortunately can't put it in the public store because no way to select 0% commission

Nice one JC. Pity there wasn't the option you were looking for though....

"Where would Jesus Publish?" Given the whole moneychangers & temple thing, probably not Elsevier et al. On the other hand, living with his mother and all until he was 30 (and not living in a developing nation), he might not have the OA author fee. On the third hand, the whole crazy delusional, living with your mother thing reminds me a lot of Grigory Perelman, so he would probably just deposit his stuff straight into arxiv. And being how he's mostly writing cosmology, that works out too. Of course, later peer review for journal publication might be a problem.

LOL, John. I think they (PLoS) would most probably grant Him an APC fee waiver for His publications. I wonder what the folks at PLoS have to say on the subject ;-)
- Graham Steel
Ah, but would anything he writes qualify for PLoS ONE on the basis of being sound science? I'm thinking they would have to start a PLoS Revelations just for him.
- John Dupuis
I've alerted my photoshop dept. ;-) Thanks for the devine inspiration, John...

I wonder if we can buy the new sciencecommons tshirt with the winner design any time soon
