first impressions: interface not v intuitive, don't like being unable to resize split screen, does a good job with PubMed integration, social aspect minimal. Ads v intrusive, I won't be using it unless those go away. - Bill Hooker

@Cam: just approved you; took me a while but the little picture at the bottom left (next to invite) brings up a list of colleagues. I can see you, and your pubs, but that's it. I don't seem to have options to change what you can see of mine, but I've not added anything but my own pubs so far anyway. Logging out now, cells need feeding. - Bill Hooker

It does have word integration available which is certainly one thing in its favour but as Bill says interface not immediately intuitive and some visual aspects slightly offputting. - Cameron Neylon

Seems Bill can see me but I can't see him. Overall I would say its a good start but I would want to see bibtex in and out, good RSS feeds for integration with other services. Ideally pulling of RSS feeds in as well. Populating this looks like it could be a bit of a pain. You seem to be able to import RIS files but not much else. I can see that people might want just the app but for me the open and social aspects of citeulike win here. But then I'm possibly not the target market :) - Cameron Neylon

I registered, and sent an invite to Bill. It is very unintuitive at first sight. Perhaps it is good to test these sites when one is short on time - less likely to poke around and figure out non-intuitive things. On the other hand, I love Citeulike, so it is hard to make comparisons between the two, one of which is mature and other one brand new. - Bora Zivkovic

Interface could definitely do with a refresh, and it is slow, even for a web app. PubMed search integration is OK, but not very much to recommend it over Citeulike, Papers, et al. Also: Amazon ads? A bit of a short sell. - Matt Wood
