@benedikt when you follow in FF you get messages from all social networks the followed belongs to not just Twitter (plus messages from others you are not even subscribed to) -- the data firehouse is much much bigger (and I doubt whether Robert can really keep up to Twitter flow for 20000) - Brian Sullivan

I'm only following about 400 people in Twitter. No, I cannot keep up with it, but that's no problem. I'm missing a lot, but if something is really important and turns out to be a meme, it will pop up at many different accounts.
