Re: Kixeye takes “substantial corrective action” after black contractor calls out racist behavior at social gaming firm - http://venturebeat.com/2012...
"Oh man. I love VentureBeat, I really do. But I need the author to go back and re-read this. This article is so slanted. The first half is all about how awesome the company is. Not as a qualifying statement to provide background on who they are, but too imply they are way too cool to be racists. Hey it happens. I believe the story. In 2012 racism isn't always hate and vitriol. Its lack of experience with other cultures and all around ignorance. I believe they meant what they said as jokes. But it just proves they, nor the author know much about the African-American culture. As a general rule of thumb, just know it's not ok to crack jokes about any culture that could ultimately make them feel ostracized. We definitely wpuldnt jpme with jewish people about how awesome the holocaust was. Please forgive any typos as I am on my cell phone."

"I'm anxious for this. I want to see how this works with my email storage. I hope it aligns everything. I really don't want to spend money on storage just to hear I can get GBs from Google Drive for cheaper."

"Wow, I expected comments of more substance from a blog like this. Is Google Apps secure enough to create a solution for the white house? I know President Obama has a great relationship with all of Silicon Valley. I would hope he could clean up his own how first and have cutting edge technology in his office."

"Thank goodness. I am a diehard Sense UI fan and this is exactly the news I needed. I would love a timeframe, but beggers cant be choosers. I would just assume anything with a dual core processor should be able to handle the upgrade."

"Overall I like it. Screen is great. Processor is great. I chose this phone because i prefer Sense over Motoblur. 3D, ehh, not necessary. I would have rather an improved 8MP camera. After seeing the specs on the new iPhone I would prefer the camera to operate faster. Making the camera flush or concave would be great. I hate laying it face down to protect the camera. Guess this would be a good use for the kickstand from the original Evo. This is my first Android and first 4G so my standards are pretty low."

"I would make apps compatible across Android/Chromebook/GoogleTV. I didn't actually buy it but I love the concept. I really just need it to be compatible with all the apps on my Android and be able to network with my Windows desktop since it has all my media."

"As much as I consider myself an early adopter the Nexus S 4G is something I missed out on. Not only would I love to help spread the word about NFC, but I could probably use the money more than anyone else here."

"How do I make Windows Media Center my DVR on digital/HD cable? Do I need a cable tuner card to make this work? If so are there any digital cards?"

"Exactly how I feel. I would prefer the Galaxy SII, but there isn't even a summer guarantee. My phone is on its lifes end right now so I need one. Plus I think I prefer Sense over Touchwiz and definitely Motoblur. Maybe by time GS2 comes out I can afford to upgrade again."

"Pre-ordered at the Sprint store. Does anyone know if this phone will get to me faster if i pre-order online? I am out of town Friday, so I would prefer not to have my phone sitting at home without me."

"WebOS was good. The Palm Pre, not so much. Although it was lacking 2 major things to survive 1) A serious array of phones, preferably something big and all touch screen like the Evo 2) Developers to take them seriously and to grow a huge app market Until these things happen, WebOS will never grow. I actually prefer it, but I am moving to Android now because it has the developer base to support growth. But for the record, HP is screwing over the Palm Pre users, not Sprint"
