If you have an Evernote sync folder, can you delete the files from your hard drive after Evernote syncs them without the files being deleted from Evernote? I think you can, but I want to be sure before I start deleting stuff.

I don't know the answer. But you may test it first with a sample file.

You can configure the folder so that it deletes the files for you once they are dropped into Evernote. Go to Tools>Account Properties>File Import. Your folder should be listed there. Check the Delete checkbox.

I dropped a 256 page, 8.7 MB camera manual as a PDF into my Evernote for Mac, and it captured only the first 45.5 pages. That's a bummer and if it were something critical that I couldn't easily get my hands on again it would present a huge problem. [Edit] See the video I posted http://friendfeed.com/e...
