I have to go to bed, I have a job interview tomorrow for my own job; our company has been bought by another school and we're all facing the chop. Fortunately I'm not in till the afternoon, so I can get my beauty sleep (arf!)
Funny how I dread the final listen-through of each episode of U&F. I'm always afraid that I'll suddenly think "what the hell is this?? What am I thinking?? I can't put this out, it's no way ready yet!!!" Anyway, that time is now, and U&F 21 should be live in about four hours ... Unless I discover it's no way ready yet!!!! ;-).
Taking a break from the line-editing of U&F 21. I've got about two pages still to go and then I'm plugging in the mic and getting down to the recording.
I found Twin Peaks series 2 in a charity shop. I couldn't believe my luck. Then I checked the discs, and sure enough, one was missing. I wept! Weeping on the bus all the way home, being laughed at by children and mocked by their parents. Oh well, I'll have to settle for a plate of ginger nuts and a cup of tea. Then back to writing U&F 21.
We recently found a buyer for our house in Spain. We were happy to be selling. Then last night it fell through. Now we're happy to be holding on to it. Win-win :-).
