I'm surprised your Inspiron 9400 has those Intel graphics. My 9300 has an ATI mobile radeon card in it. Those Intel integrated chipsets have been the bane of game developers the world over for many years. - Paul Reynolds

There were multiple 9400s in my office, I'm the only one with the Intel card. All the rest have Nvidia. - Dave Slusher

I'm curious to see if anyone sees problems in my rolling upgrade scheme. It makes sense in the thought experiment but I haven't actually done it yet. I might have some form of flaw in my thinking. - Dave Slusher

I've heard a lot of problems with sound on MythBuntu after upgrading to 9.04. Makes me glad I only used it to build a server box that doesn't use video or sound! - Andrew Herron

At first I thought separating /boot from the rest of the system was risky, but I just realised that it's genius. With a few low-level tweaks you can have the old system ready to boot just by selecting a different entry on the bootloader menu! - Andrew Herron

Usually displaying raw HTML in the browser is a mimetype issue when downloading. Maybe the mimetype in the registry for .html files is screwed? I can't find any references to fixes on google though. - Andrew Herron
