A note from the jurors in Baltimore Mayor Shelia Dixon's trial. They also asked the definition of the word "misappropriation" - but were referred to their notes. This note shows why they wanted to be sent home yesterday...
I really hate that this is the first year I am really not happy about the holidays. We leave for a week in KY tomorrow, but instead of being happy I am wishing we could have our normal Thanksgiving with my in-laws at our house.
hmm. it's really odd. internet is fine, every other site works, but basic google search, gmail, google docs all unable to load.

Upon further testing, it appears no web search will work. Yahoo times out, bing won't work. Everything else is fine but I can't run a web search. Any idea?

Application for new job is now officially submitted. Now the waiting game begins.
Is it just me or is it weird that someone from another branch would come here for a training, eat in our lounge, but apparently not introduce themselves to anyone else who was in the lounge at the same time?
Sounds like something I'd do, which means yes, it's weird. (Maybe he/she has social phobias too?)

A bit strange. If it were me, I'd probably at least say hello. I might not engage in much conversation, but it would be polite to at least acknowledge the other people. There could be a social phobia. Or maybe the person was just really focused on something and being oblivious (I've had those moments). But yeah, at least a general greeting or hello would be nice.

Bragging time: Both kids are once again on the honor roll. The 8th grader has straight A's even with high school classes like geometry and French on his schedule.
Nothing like coming to work, discovering you are likely the in-charge person with all the rest of management out or on the evening shift and then finding a county police officer at the door because someone set the alarm off when they arrived at work before you.
Obviously, I'm late getting the news.

Is it really that hard to call me to tell me the Thanksgiving luncheon has been postponed so I don't waste my day driving back and forth for no reason?
