Has anyone used SocialSubmitter? It's the software off www.socialmarker.com that Ed suggested in the 30DC. If you have I'd be interested to know how you found it. Ta in advance
Anyone? Im quite interested in finding out how it was as well :) - Kahthan
Works Ok for me, takes a little getting used to ... much better than submitting them individually. However, must confess past digg, delicious, stumble and a few more I seem to get nothing from the others. - micmol
Guys just do it... It's not so much for the traffic it will generate from those sites but more for ranking good in Google and Google actually indexing your site and blog posts... Follow what Ed tells you and don't question it, just Get 'er done! - Mike Hill from twhirl
Watch out for individual sites tagging methods, ie some are example-tag, or example_tag, or "example tag" or just example tag,. 5 bookmarks will take about 10 mins to do it carefully. If you just cut and paste you risk splitting your keyword phrase into individual words, and then the whole concept fails. You can mess up easily here. - Mark McGimpsey
Ah I've noticed that cut and paste doesn't work so well. @Mark - so you think that it's more accurate with an automated submitter? - Seang-Lim Tan
Also, do the socialsubmitter developers update the software? I suspect things keep changing all the time, so do they keep the software up to date with the social bookmarking sites? - Seang-Lim Tan
Someone shared a link before that pointed to Shareaholic, a firefox addon that does something similar. It is not as automated, but it is easier for impulse sharing :) or resharing stuff. - Jorge Blanco
I haven't bothered with the automated version as I don't believe there is a lot of value in bookmarking a lot at the same time, (besides its around $127 if I remember correctly). If I'm wrong on that point I'm sure Ed Dale will correct me pretty quickly. - Mark McGimpsey
