My site got BANNED at StumbleUpon - I'd only submitted six pages from it in six days. This is a bummer because they were a big source of daily traffic. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Have you tried to contact them and explained to them that? Maybe an apologie would help!

I wouldn't worry about loosing traffic from them because it is not highly targeted traffic and realistically, you would not convert much of stumbleupon traffic to sales (in my limited experience). Id be more concerned about losing a good source of quality backlinks. Set up a new SU account and start using it like a normal user would. click the stumble button, give some thumbs up and down on various sites, review sites other than your own. These are like "deposits". then you can submit yours occasionally

It probably was due to the fact that there was so much of your own content being submitted in a relatively short period of time. You just need to space it out. I've submitted my own content before with out any problems. You just need to make sure you are using the stumble button and viewing other sites; providing thumbs up & down for them.

Thanks, everybody! I'll try to set-up a new Stumble user account.

only submit your own stories 2-3 times. My brother got his account shutdown too by submitting too much of his own stuff. Far better to have your team members submit your posts and you do theirs. Trade off this way with a partner for each post and it will go better.

You also need to become part of the Stumbleupon community and stumble any sites you like. They soon pick up on those who only Stumble occasionally (and their own sites).

I have many posts on my blog, and I discovered all of them, and nothing else, but I stumble in my free time (I love videos, I've stumbled 300 of them), and I don't think I'll get banned

Do you also stumble other people's sites? If you only SU your own, that looks suspicious.

Deb - Yes, I was stumbling a bunch of others. Anyway, moving on. Started writing articles for newsgroups and ezine today.
